Peas

Okay, I HATE peas (I think) I had to eat so dang many of them when I was younger that I don't feed them to my family and haven't for YEARS!!! HOWEVER, I for some strange and unknown reason am eating a bacon/cheese/cold pea salad lately. My question is this (because after two years I'm finally trying it) how are pea's for us?

Yummy I love that salad.....do you make it or buy it?? I hate peas warm, but I like them in cold salads. I think they are a fine food for us to eat....they mush up to nothing. It trips me out too how taste change....I use to love sausage and hate bacon.....now sausage makes me And I love bacon Oh well! Take Care jesi

make it - are you joking? actually I'm a very good cook, but there mere thought of "cooking" with peas - eeewww!!!! I bought the salad in the deli section of the store.

To make the pea salad you just have to let the frozen peas thaw---no cooking involved ya goof! Or, you are right, it's easier to run down to Freddies and get some from the deli.

I'm just WEIRD, cuz I've always loved peas.. cold, hot, especially pea and ham soup.. OMG.. LOL, dunno if they are good or bad. I consider them a veggie, and even throw them in my salad if they are available.. I find them sweet... Weird, probably, but love em! Wendy (drooling at the thought of split pea/ham soup now)
