Good morning folks! I hope you're waking up to a great Tuesday morning and full of determination to take care of you today. I did well with my vows yesterday except all my running around doing the gazillion errands had me getting home late and eating after 7:30 PM. Ah well, today is another day. Today I vow to: ? Eat a minimum of 80 grams of protein. ? Drink a minimum of 80 oz. of water. ? Run more of the gazillion errands I need to get done before I head out of town Thursday. ? No eating after 7:30 PM. What are y'all planning to do today to stick to your personal plan? Join in and just post your plan and see if it doesn't help you find a bit more determination throughout the day. Hey DD, I am off to the gym to do 1/2hr of weights. Other than that I vow to do 64 oz water 60 g protein--- don't feel like I can commit much else cuz I am still "kinda nuts". Have a good one! Lucy

Lucy, I'm in the same boat this week ... too many eating lunch dates, etc. where I can't weigh my food and measure calories exactly so I've just resorted to making sure I get my grams of protein in this week. Weights, Water, and Protein sounds like a good plan though --- you hang in there!! DD

wonderful goals, I am a big believer in keeping it simple and if stressed to set goals I am sure I can achieve. Nothing like success to build you up with a sense of accomplishment. My goals today are to pay bills go to yoga and power stretch classes, and meet with the dietician at the health club and see if I can learn anything new. Play with my grand daughter and take an afternoon nap!

Hi DeeDee! Things went a bit better yesterday. I got all my water and protein in, but didn't get to the treadmill. I'm still fighting the emotional eating. It's not as easy to stop once we start up, but I know I can get a handle on it before it's too out of control like before. I will NOT let it get back to that point again. I worked too hard and came to far to let that happen again. Today is better and I promise to get on that treadmill by the end of this day and promise to get on it first thing tomorrow morning. Hubby leaves tomorrow afternoon again to travel for work. So I will be getting back to my routine. For some reason it's easier when he's gone. I thought it would be harder but it's not. We don't know the next time he will be able to fly back. He is going to check into a new airline that has real cheap fares. I might fly there for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Anyway, I'm taking it a day at a time and even though some are harder than others, I know I am determined to succeed! Glad to know others are motivated by this thread. Be Blessed! Hi Jeannie! Glad to see you're plugging away. I understand about how it can be easier when the hubby's away. I'm leaving for the weekend cottage and meeting my daughter there this weekend. I figure it'll be a whole lot easier ... we'll just shop and forget about eating! =) Hope your day has gone well. To be honest; I haven't gotten my water drinking in and boy am I paying for it!! Even my smooth move tea isn't helping tonight! DeeDee
