Hello friends - I can't believe Im actually going BACK in for more surgery in two weeks - you'd think 3 "slice and dices" in 12 months was MORE then enough, huh? Anyway - I decided to belly up to the OR table and get one last surgery before the end of the year. Yep, it's purely the Tax-beni's that's bringing me in this soon but it's something Id always planned on doing. I carried a LOT of my weight in my face and my neck and quite frankly the waddle tends to make my lower face look like Im in my 70's ... well, I don't have a problem with looking like I'm 45 - so I told the doc, Im NOT interested in a total face lift, just De-Waddle the flippin' neck, please!! Ive seen his pics and he's really good - but I'd love to see any "before AND after" photos that ya'll might have to share. ALSO - what's the overall pain factor like? If you've had other PS's and could compare it, that would be great. Ive had a Abdominoplasty (TT), Breast lift w/implants and an armlift. To date, the TummyTuck absolutely was the most painful - lol, Im hoping those stat's remain the same!! Can you help a gal out? If they're on your profile, just lemme know and I'll click over - if not and you could EMAIL them to me direct, that would be awesome too. My email is: [email protected] Thanks in advance, Ive also posted this to the Plastic Surgery board, but thought there might be a few GRADS out there that may not travel over to that forum - Lei Btw, I had my hubby take new pics of my Arm Lift at 6 months post op and I'll be updating my profile with those some time today or tomorrow - I'll update with a post when that's done.

Hi Eileen! Yep...Alexis is due on 11/11/05. Mentally, I am SO ready for her to be here now; but, I also need to finish getting the room ready (crib and bassinette set up, etc.) and finish getting the little things ready to go. Thank you so much for asking, Hon! ~~Sherry

You BETTER say "hi" to me, oh bratty one. I don't care if I talk to you daily - I can never get too much of my girlfriend(s)! What are you and Mike doing today? Wanna go to the Peanut Festival with us, in Suffolk? We're heading out at noon and we're dragging Wendy and Rob with us. If you're free and wanna go, just call me on the cell - Paul and I are taking off to run some errands before hand. Love ya - ME!

Hello GORGEOUS!!!! How are you doing/feeling? When does SherryLei make her appearance? hehehe - um, you DID decide to call her SherryLei, right? Im glad you popped in to say hello - I always love hearing from you and with me going on "board strike" for awhile, it's been too long! As far as the neck lift goes - Im in dire need of one. Ive perfected the "up and jutted OUT" look with my face and neck, to minimize all the excess stuff and it'll be nice to not have to do that anymore. Took some "before" close ups of the face this weekend and I was amazed at just HOW bad it looks when Im in the "relaxed" stance. Yikes! Of course then I had to smack my hubby for NEVER telling me how bad it was - lol, poor guy can't win for losing. I just looked at the photos Susan K. has on her profile and her doc did an amazing job - I hope my results are as good as hers. The only thing that worries me (scares me?) is that she said this was the MOST PAINFUL surgery of all the surgeries she's had thus far (tummy tuck, thigh lift, arm lift and breast) ....aaaaargh, Im such a CHICKEN and I have NO tolerance for pain, at all. Okay - im rambling again, huh? Take care of YOU and that little blessing! Hugs - Lei

Ummm...how 'bout a compromise? Alexis Leigh-Ann? She is due on 11/11/05 (scheduled c-section)...we'll see if I actually go to full-term...four weeks, five days to go! I'm a TOTAL wimp when it comes to pain; I don't really envy that part of your journey...but, my-oh-my are you getting EVEN MORE gorgeous as each day goes by! Love & (((Hugs))), ~~Sherry

Hey Lei -- I'm like you -- anxious to have everything done asap, and get on with the healing. I had a lower body lift in January, my "eyes" done in February, a breast lift/aug and arms in May and my inner thighs and neck (along with a mini face lift) in June. I told the doc that I wanted to look my age (48) and not be pulled, but I absolutely wanted to get rid of the neck waddle. He suggested the face lift also, but it wasn't a full lift -- the neck was dealt with and the stitches were done inside the ear so they don't show and behind the ear and in the back of the head inside the hairline. There is a small 3/4" scar underneath the chin where the neck was lipo'd too. Nothing much at all. The pain was a walk in the park - bruising and black and blue on the neck for the first week or so. Sorry I don't have any pics on my profile, but ask away, and I'll let you know about my experiences. The results were worth it. Hope to see you in Richmond in Jan -- I'll be there, and expect a hug from you! Hugs, Nannette

Hellooooooooooooooooo Nannette!!!!!!! Long time NO POST - woman, how the hell are you!?! Well, by the looks of that new message photo, you're doing great, not to mention stunning! WOW - do you realize how much YOUNGER you look, at goal, vs the beginning of your journey. LOL, uh, I hope that's not a crass thing to say, it's meant as an absolute compliment - hot damn, you're gorgeous! Ta' heck with a HUG, I want a DANCE too woman! We've only been cross posting for 3 years + now, so you just plan on some hugging and some dancing, when we finally meet. Yep - I'll be in Richmond - especially since there are a few out of towners, yourself included -- and Roxxi (Gina) ...hopefully KARI? Tony in NY ...and of course Lynda M in FL, who I continue to call Lynda S. ...only cause I love both of 'em to pieces, and Im hoping that Lynda S. from CA shows up too. Uh, I need to stop dropping names, cause I can't remember them all, then I start feeling bad about the one's Ive forgotten. Man this is gonna be soooooooooooooooooo much fun, if ya'll really do commit and really do show up!!!!!! Hey? About the Plastic Surgery ...you said you didnt have any pics on the profile (before and afters) do you have any you could email me direct? If so, would love to see 'em. IF you had to compare the PAIN to your other surgeries (Ive already had the tummy tuck, breast lift w/implants and arm lift) ...all of which I think youve also done, how did the neck lift compare pain wise? Im starting to get really concerned about the pain factor. I see the doc tomorrow for my PREOPS and I'll be drilling him about the PAIN aspect of it all too. Thanks in advance hon - Hugs, Lei

Thank you very much for the compliments and the support over the past 3+ years -- from even before my WLS surgery too! I have already booked my non-refundable flights to Richmond, my hotel reservation and mailing in my registration form to David today, so you can be sure I'll be there -- as for a dance with you -- you better just plan to keep on boogieing with me for as long as you can stand it! Cause I'm a "dancing fool." Just ask Lynda M about the special entertainment we went to in DC last November? Tony in NY and I are great buddies, and he has promised to come too -- I know that Gina and Aaron are coming also. Haven't heard a definative answer on Kari. What about Track? Can we count on him showing up? Haven't heard from him in ages... As for the PS - I'll send you some pics. The pain was no big deal at all -- now I was dealing with it at the same time as the inner thighs, so maybe one pain offset the other -- but other than the bruising on the neck which was obvious for the first week or so, and a tightness in your neck -- there really was no major pain. Hugs, Nannette
