Good Morning Folks! I kept my vows yesterday; I had fewer than 1200 calories, had 67 grams of protein, and drank 100 oz. of water. I walked the stairs at the office FIVE different times yesterday, worked out at the gym after work and at lunch time I spent 40 minutes walking around our very large corporate complex [ http://arcadiahill.com/wls/clipart/Whq.jpg ].
This weekend I vow to:
? Eat fewer than 1200 calories per day.
? Drink a minimum of 80 oz. of water per day.
? Get in some bike riding if the weather permits.
? Not eat after 7:30 PM (this really helps me not graze!)
I hope y'all all did well with your committments yesterday and you're looking forward to a successful weekend. What are your vows for this weekend? Have a good one, folks!

Hiya DeeDee
Good for you. That's a lot of walking! You are doing fantastic on your water intake too. That's an awful lot of stair climbing! Aren't your legs sore? lol.... Your new bike sounds like a lot of fun. Hope you have nice weather for it this weekend. We weigh in tomorrow. I know we will see results for we have been diligent in our comittments!
Have a great weekend and I'll see ya around.
Yesterdays goals were all met! I am so upbeat and positive lately. Do ya think it's because I am doing what I know to do? hehe....
I got in 105oz. of protein, 96oz. of water, did 50mins. on the treadmill and got to all the other things I set out to do.
Today I plan on:
1.Continue getting in no less than 80grms. of protien.
2.No less than 96oz.of water.
3.30 mins. on the treadmill (already did 50mins.)
4.P/U Grandkids and enjoy them for the weekend!
Have an awesome day everyone. Remember you only get out what you put into it. We are worth every single effort!

Okay now I don't feel so bad about confessing to having a few cheadar flavored mini rice cakes yesterday. They aren't even sugar and I still felt a tad bit uneasy about having them. I'ts not that they are Bad for me, it's just that I ate them because they were there. I was feeding them to my grandkids and goddaughter while drving home w/them yesterday.
DeeDee, you don't need me beating you up over this slip, but I will encourage you to fight the urge a little harder next time. We are addicted to sugar remember. Was it worth it? Probably not. I know it isn't easy giving it up, but once we do, it becomes easier. I know you will do better with your choices the rest of the weekend. Hang in there girlfriend. You can get through this. You've come a long way baby and are looking good. Don't sabotage it. Did you go for your bike ride yet?
The little one is napping so I thought let me ck in for the day. I did well yesterday. Got all my protein, water and exercising in. Met all my goals too. Now in spite of having one of the best weeks following everything to a tee, in a long time, I gained a 1/2 lb. What's up w/that? I was floored. I couldn't believe it. I went straight to the treadmill and started working through my emotions. In the past I would have stuffed them w/more food! I told God that I was disappointed but refused to be discouraged over it. I know I did extremely well and didn't bring this on myself. Others may think, yeah right! Honestly I don't care. I know I didn't go off my plan at all (excluding the few mini rice cakes) and like that really caused a weight gain. NOT!!!! I have been doing my treadmill 6 days a week for the past 2 weeks, upped my water and protein. So what gives? All I know is that if this is a test to see if I will eat over it, well then I am determined to pass. I have not and will not give into overeating. My body is obviously going through some changes. The main thing is that I am doing what I know to do. I'm back on track and I plan on staying there. This will not defeat me. The extra few pounds eventually will come off. Staying on track is my main goal anyway. So with all that said, today I will continue eating how I know to eat. Maybe cut back on the cheese, the only thing that may be the culprit for now. And cut down on the amt.of protein. We shall see.
I hear the little one now, so I better get going.
Have a great weekend everyone!

I'll bite - I haven't done this before:
My weekend goals are similar to yours - Get in enough protein, enough water, make healthy food choices (which is a stretch this weekend with a brunch on Sunday) and stay as active as possible.
