Ulcer? Gallbladder?

Hi all, I have had some problems lately with acid reflux I think. I feel that lump in my throat like something is stuck. Then had burning in my pouch, or I think so. . I started taking my Zantac, I have only had to take it a few times in the last 2 years. Uncomfortable in bed or while I am up. I had discomfort yesterday and had to bend over to get something, the discomfort turned into pain which radiated into my back and sides. No nausea but If i get hungry it begins to hurt again. I feel better today and have not taken a Zantac...I will see the surgeon in about 1 1/2 wks. Any feed back is apprciated. MaryLyn

Call your surgeon. The only way to know what is going on is to have some tests run - and it you are having that kind of pain, don't wait for a week and a half - call today. Patty

Thanks Patty, I had a similar problem last year, he sent me for a scan of my gall bladder, but nothing showed up. Hope they did not miss anything. I also had a problem with pain in my belly button region, nothing there either... I will have him do more testing than before. It can be very uncomfortable at times. Take care MaryLyn
