Hi Marcy! I think you'll really enjoy this site. It has far less (almost no) drama compared to the Main message board - something I value a lot. The main board certainly has it's place and you can learn a lot there - I still visit occasionally and sometimes share a bit of knowledge which hopefully can help a bit. All of us here have our struggles - the dreaded 20 lb wt gain, falling off the exercise wagon and coping with life as "old-timers" vs. newbies. I think you'll find the tone here one of gratitude and support - and sometimes we need the occasional "kick in the pants" to get us back on the right track. People generously share what's worked for them - and just as generously share mistakes. Welcome aboard - and congratulations on your success! Your WLS pal, Bette

Hi Marcy and everyone else. I too am new to these boards but not to OH. I had my open rny june 5 2003. at time of surgery I was 290. I lost 110lbs in 10mths but am now fighting with weight gain. I am presently 191lbs. Hey not bad considering. i am having so much stress right now with a disabled husband and an 8mth old we have in our care and trying to adopt. That plus a full time job... Need I say more? I desperately need help to get back on track and hope you all can help with that journey. Joy from NY
