Hey Gals, Have a question for you all... My favorite cousin passed away a few years ago, and her daughter is getting married this weekend.... Do you think giving her a special locket for her special day, with her Mom's picture in it, would be to emotional for her that day? All comments welcome, Love ya's, Me

I probably would give it her maybe the night before. A little private time with her and you. That's just my opinion..... Darlene

I think it will be a lovely gesture and a gift that she will cherish forever. I agree with Darlene about the night before but if you are not going to see her until the wedding, then I think I would pull her aside and as Darlene said, have a little private moment.

ditto on the night before - we don't want her beautiful face to be smeared with running makeup!

It might possibly be something she would want to wear, carry, or work into her bouquet, kind of so her Mom could be there. I think it is a wonderful idea, and agree, give it to her before. the night before is usually a zoo with rehearsals, out of town guests to settle in etc, maybe sooner would be nice. You would want some special time to share.

Val--I love the idea. I think especially doing it the night or sometime before would be lovely. I know when my sister got married she included my mom (who had passed away several years before) by having a gardenia--her favorite flower in her bouquet.

Val, What a wonderful, thoughtful idea. You amaze me somethines. And I concur with everyone else - give it to her when you can have some private time with her and when she can have a few minutes to compose herself because I'm sure it will be a very emotional moment for her. Patty
