Morning folks! I did the 10 day carb detox and lost 11 pounds - YAY! I took a break this weekend and enjoyed the bridal shower (which went very well). Today I vow to: ? Stick to my food plan and eat fewer than 1200 calories. ? Drink a minimum of 100 oz. of water. ? Go to the gym after work and work out. ? Start weeding out clothes from my closet that need to go. ? Stay off the scales until Saturday. I hope y'all had a good weekend and are ready to focus on another successful week. What are you vowing to do today? Have a Marvelous Monday! DeeDee

Tina, Yes, the following is what I did for 10 days and I didn't cheat not even a little bit. It worked, I lost 11 pounds and I felt great. I'm adding healthy carbs back in at my evening meal this week. Do this for 10 days to break plateau 1) Drink 2 quarts of water a day 2) You must have 45 grams of protien supplement and all your vitamin & mineral supplements each day 3) you may consume up to 3 oz. of the following high-protein foods, 5 times a day: ? beef ? pork ? chicken ? turkey ? lamb ? fish ? eggs ? low-fat cheese ? cottage cheese ? plain yougurt or artificially sweetetened ? peanut butter ? beans/legumes You may also have: ? sugar free popsicles ? tea or coffee ? sugar free sodas ? sugar free jello ? broths and bullions ? crystal lite drinks 4) IF IT IS NOT ON THE LIST YOU CANNOT HAVE IT FOR 10 DAYS 5) Keep a food diary and get up to 30 minutes of exercise daily.

I hope it works as well for you as it did for me. I'm adding healthy carbs back in during my evening meal this week so I'll keep y'all informed on how that works. I'm not weighing again until next Saturday. DD

My, my, my, where has the time gone today. I'ts 2:30 already and I'm just getting around to posting my eating plan and goals for today. I had a very busy day so far. Had to get blood work done this morning and run some errands. As I shared yesterday, I lost 4 Lbs. and feel so much more in control now. I am planning my meals once again, weighing food and just doing my best. I have been on an emotional roller coaster the past few weeks and I tell ya, eating over things just doesn't help. I am thankful to have control back again even when I feel things are out of control in my life. Today I plan to: 1. Have at least 80-100 grms. of protein. 2. Get in no less than 80oz.of water. 3. Do the treadmill for at least 30mins. (did 50mins. already) 4. No eating past 7:30. 5. Enjoy my last night w/DH. (he leaves for work tomorrow afternoon) Enjoy the rest of your day everyone! Keep up the good work too! Jeannie

Doesn't it feel great to be back in control?! My boss brought in a caramel cake today from a very well known bakery and I just pooh-poohed it and said I could have been tempted with another type cake but I'm not crazy about caramel. I feel like a hurdle jumper sometimes just jumping over food hurdles! Glad to see your smiling pixels and to hear you're doing well. Enjoy hubby tonight! DD
