Deb--You and everyone else in Rita's way are definitely in my prayers. Please email me and let me know what town YOU live in so I can follow what is happening. Thankfully, it seems like she has been weakening a bit. You just never know about these darn storms. Got to be alert no matter where they think it is going. Hi Lynda.. Im in Nacogdoches. Its about 3hrs from houston. We are getting out of school tomorrow but mostly just so that buses wont be involved in winds about 50miles an hour. Tornado's is our fears here... have lots of history of them within 2miles of this homestead here... 2 that actually wiped out the homestead. More focused on closer to the coast than my area.. so thought I would volunteer some this weekend at the centers and pray pray pray... for all the loved ones that need it. love ya girl thanks for caring... deb

Gee Deb--I just checked it out on mapquest and it looks like it is coming more your way than originally thought. I know you are inland, but after seeing what Charlie did last year to inland Florida--just beware and be safe. My son's girlfriend has been in New Orleans volunteering with the Red Cross. He said they evacuated them all yesterday and she was upset about it. I won't tell you what else he said--lol! Can you imagine how dazed those people must feel after going through this? just be safe.

awwwwwwwwwww I can imagine. and your right it looks like I may just get to see the eyewall up close it looks directly coming over us once it lands. I promise to be careful... honest cross my heart! Im glad it doesn't look like its going to hit galveston head on... hate that we were a habour for LA and now we are being hit. Kinda reminds me of pour Florida last year. How much is too much? I guess the Lord knows... but I so wanna "IM Him" sometimes *lol* and just ask him things ...
