I need serious advice. I will be 3yrs post on Oct 3. In the last year I have gained back 55lbs!!! I cannot seem to get myself under control! Last year, I became pregnant, and I was so paranoid about nutrition that I ate all day long. Unfortunatley, I lost the baby. That loss put me into an eating depression. I know I stretched my pouch. That fact alone makes me so angry with myself! I would love some "get on track" suggestions from other post ops that have overcome weight gain. I want loose this weight! I was also curious to know how to minimize my pouch again. Would going back to the beginning with liquid only then soft foods help? I don't know....I really need some support!

I can't tell u what to do but know that I know what I know... I would make an appointment with my surgeron ASAP .... have him TEST me... to see if there is a problem with the pouch ... if it comes out clean and all is ok then I would get back to basics... I would try hard to follow the beginning of the WLS program as possible and yes it can shrink ... after thousands of diets many of us have been on ... the tummy can shrink if you cut down on what goes in. I would also start exercising asap.... wish you all the best. I had WLS 2 times so I have been where you are and the time to stop is now... dont get worse off before you try to stop things... first check with the doc to see if its a mechanical problem with the surgery itself tho.... Good luck deb

Diane, I don't really have any advice for you, but I wanted to say how sorry I am about the loss of the baby. That has to be a terrible thing to go through. Hopefully someone will have some advice for you. I would try to get back to eating protein, veggies, and try to avoid carbs and sugars. Put yourself back in a routine and don't snack. I know some do better eating six small meals a day, maybe try that. Anyway, like I said, hopefully someone will post some other suggestions for you. Shel

Oh Diane...I'm sorry. Call your surgeon and see what he/she recommends. ((((((((((HUGS)))))))))) for the loss of your little one.
