Hanging Head LOW!

Well we had to go out for supper with the entire family, there was something like 22 of us. I did great at supper, though I did end up ordering an IRB Rootbeer, I LOVE that stuff. Then we got home and after a bit the girls wanted a snack. For the last 4 days snacks for them have not gotten to me, but it did this time. I have a swissroll! I had to go to WalMart and resisted all the candy, chips and such, but NOPE, could not get past that one damn swiss roll!!!!!!!! Yeah, I know, it could of been worse, but I can not believe I did it. At least it tasted great. I have found since wls things I really really want arent half as good as I remember them being. Anyway, I will be good for the rest of the night!!! Going to get my water now! Hugsss Theresa

Tommorrow is a new day. No need to hang your head low....you ate...you didn't kill someone. I probably wouldn't have made it through the Root Beer though....I would have been too sick to head for the swiss roll. I still can't handle sugar. Tommorrow is another day.....enjoy it!

Awwww, Theresa, one Swiss Roll won't do you in. Remember when you could eat half the box (maybe the whole box) and never flinch? And with all the other temptations you avoided I think you did pretty well. Besides, I broke my promise and weighed today so now we're even. Back on track tomorrow? DeeDee

It's a deal ... no more Ms. Nice Gal after this. We're going to make this work! I have TJ outside grilling juicy hamburger steaks for me for the week. I have two bags of shrimp, some pre-cooked mesquite chicken breasts, five bags of Jack Links beef steak nuggets, four salmon steaks, and some pre-cooked Italian sausage for the week. And a few low fat Mozzarella cheese sticks if I get desperate. So, I'm set for the week! I just had 3 oz. of steak on my plate and couldn't eat it all; I had to put one ounce back in the refrigerator. I've had 10.5 oz. of protein today and one sugar free popsicle. Day 5 has been a success --- I should go to bed now! DeeDee

Theresa--I read your post earlier about the chips and wanted to respond then. It is chips I really have a hard time walking by. If there are Cape Cod chips in my house--I literally will wake up thinking about them--I know a shrink is in order. Never been a swiss roll fan myself--now Yodel--that might be a different story. Haha! At least it was only one--right? Not like before surgery. Take care

Yeah, 1 package. I still want to kick myself in the butt though. I had been doing so great! I wish I could figure out what set me off, maybe it was because I "let" myself have that IRB rootbeer. If I had stopped there I would not feel so bad, but I didnt. Oh well, like Dee Dee said, tomorrow is another day! BTW, I did see a shrink (some type of one) for a bit, but it helped in all ways cept with my eating. Thanks for the kind words! Theresa
