Thanks so much, Connie. You're right, I took a HUGE detour on this journey and I still have a ways to go to goal but I'm pretty pumped right now. Y'all are terrific supporters and I appreciate it. =) DD

Thanks so much, Bette. You're right, I have worked hard and made it through a year long setback so I'm twice as thrilled to finally make this milestone as I would have been if I had made it after the first surgery! Thanks! DD

Thanks so much, Joni ... how sweet of you! It has been somewhat frustrating to watch those who had their surgeries in 2003 get to goal while I ended up on a detour. I am determined to make it to goal this time though. My surgeon was kind of cute after the surgery; he told my hubby and daughter that he separated my stomach, stapled it, super-glued it with medical super-glue, and then taped it off. He assured them that NOTHING was going to come loose this time. I've been grinning all morning ... probably made folks in church wonder what I was up to! Thanks again, it's great to have everyone's support here. DD

(((((((((DeeDee))))))))) I'm sooooooooooo proud of you! Girl, I don't blame you for getting on that scale. You waited a long time to see those numbers and you finally did it! I know you will continue to be successful and get to your goal weight. You can always count on us to cheer you along. This is definetly a 'Wow' moment for you. Savor it girlfriend! I was really busy yesterday and today and haven't been able to get on here and report in like I would've liked to. I will post on the weekend vows. This is your time to shine. :8-0: Enjoy the rest of your day and again Congratulations! Jeannie

Thanks, Jeannie. I haven't stopped grinning today! I'm sure folks at church this morning wondered what I've been up to. How did your Ministry Expo go? Did you get lots of exercise setting it up? DD

Thanks, Tooter. You know I'll never forget the amazing support you gave me when I was on the liquid second pre-op phase for two weeks and your poor family had Jell-O recipes coming out their ears while you experimented recipes to get me through. I still pass that link on to others who are going through that horrible phase that only sadistic surgeons require! I feel like I've reached the peak and it's all downhill from here, but I've seen too many of you for too long to not know that the real work is just beginning to get these last 90 pounds off and maintain. TJ and I were talking today and neither of us can remember the last time I was this weight. I lost 75 pounds back in 1995 and got down to 240 but I'm at 236 today. I've had to practice saying it because it's been so long since I've been below 240 and it just sounds weird! I see light at the end of the tunnel finally. But, for today I'm just gloatingly (is that a word?) happy. DeeDee

Gloat away darling! Tomorrow you can sweat *evil grin* - And truly, my love for you has helped a lot of other folks. I'd never been motivated until you were going nuts, to work on liquid recipes So "I" thank you - as I'm sure, do many others Keep on rolling baby!
