Hi Family!
I feel great about today! Super in fact. Yeah!!!
As of 3:15 pm today this is what I have had!
2 protein (Unjury) drinks with hotcocoa
1 ff fudgsicle
2 slices of cheese
2 ounces of pork
20 ounces of water
So, if I add the liquid up that is a total of 52 ounces!!! Not bad for this time of day for me.
Now hopefully the rest of the day will be just as easy!!! (I pray)

I just did 30mins.on the Treadmill!!!!! It's about time, I know.LOL....I've been having the hardest time getting on that thing and when I did yesterday, my muscle was too sore to continue. Today was much better. I plan on doing it again tomorrow. I'm just about finished w/96oz.of water. I will stop drinking as of 6 or 7. Like DeeDee, I like my sleep and when I drink up to bedtime, I'm up and down all night long. Ugh!
Again, you are doing a fantastic job Theresa.

I just got back from a 25 minute bike ride. I made sure to get my blood pummping. I have a bad shoulder/back so it was hard to make sure cars were not going to run me over. But I did it!!!
Hopefully it will be all better by the time I sign back up at the gym Monday!

Wooooooooohoooooooooooo for you Theresa!!!!!! You go girl! Bad back and all you did it! We inspire each other on here. This is what the board is all about. Supporting one another. Who cares about all that pesky little stuff that everyone else gets caught up in. This is what it's all about to me. We can be real and honest on here. When one is down, we pick the other up and vise versa.
When you get back to the gym, remember to start out S L O W..........
I'm gonna join our civic center after I heal from my up coming revisions in Nov. I can't wait to tone up again.

I'm so happy I could jump for joy!
I agreed to go with my office staff to this little out-of-the-way, hole-in-the-way restaurant for lunch over a month ago. They only serve catfish on Friday and Saturday and they are suppose to have the best! I don't even work on Fridays but I told them I would come in if that's the only day we could get catfish. Since you mentioned the protein train I've been dreading lunch today wondering if I could pick the meat out of the lump of grease that fried catfish usually is.
Well... we got there and the place only serves catfish AFTER 4 PM --- YAY! So I got to order grilled shrimp over a bed of rice; ate the shrimp and left the rice.
So, I've had 62 oz. of water, 3 oz. of italian sausage, and 3 oz. of shrimp. I'm every bit as excited as you are and I'm determined to make it through the rest of the day.
I'm so happy you've done so well today. It's such a good boost to the morale when we have those success moments! Keep it up, Theresa --- I know you can finish out the day.

I'm just too darn competitive sometimes and YOU'RE the one who got me motivated to stick to this for 10 days - THANK YOU! So we'll just keep each other motivated along with everyone else who's hanging in there and working hard.
Of course, we're going to have to do something after my 10 days on this plan are up. I want/need to incorporate the good carbs back but I want to do it in such a way that I still enjoy the "full" feeling I'm having now and not find myself ravenous mid-afternoon and into the evening.
I have another goal too. I'm in size 18/20/22s now and the last weekend in October I'm flying to my daughter's in Hudson, Ohio and we're going on a fall clothing shopping spree. I want so badly to be able to buy a few things in the regular women's department of stores and not everything from plus sizes. I'm going to have to REALLY be good to accomplish that goal in 6 weeks time.
Thanks again for your suggestion to do this. Let's not let this go by the wayside; let's stay motivated and supportive!

You can still have that full feeling if you do protein first as was drilled into us by our surgeons & nutritionists. Carbs, wether good or bad, should always be last. I know the slightest bit of bad carbs will do me in everytime. I am w/you. I want to incorporate good carbs back in and only a minimal amt. at that. This feels too good to go backwards again. I pray we stay motivated and on track. We have come toooooooo far.
All you can do is your best DeeDee and whatever size you're in by that time will be because of hard work. Anyway, you will only be able to buy a few things since you will be loosing more and more and getting into even smaller sizes is the future. Oh, isn't that music to your ears?
You have a goal and you will accompli**** Hang in there and keep up the awesome work.
