I'M ABOUT 7 MONTHS POST-UP AND HAVE LOST 140 LBS. FOR THE LAST 3 WEEKS I'M TOTALLY STALLED. I KNOW I NEED TO INCREASE MY PROTEIN AS I AM ALSO LOSING HAIR. I HAVE UNJURY AT HOME BUT HAVEN'T HAD MUCH SUCCESS WITH IT. WOULD YOU PLEASE SUGGEST SOME GOOD PROTEIN SHAKES OR OTHER WAYS TO GET IN MY PROTEIN. YOU GUYS SEEM TO HAVE REALLY HELPFUL IDEAS !!

I am a huge fan of Unjury, it has always "worked" for me. What do you mean that it hasnt worked for you? Are you taking your vitamins? This can really give a person negative results. Theresa

If you like chocolate, Champion Pure Whey Stack and Champion PS-100 are both delicious chocolatey flavors. www.netrition.com

Hi Brenda! I always get the same protein. They are ready made in the can. World Wide Pure Protein Shakes. 35grms. protein. They are a bit pricey, but well worth it to me. Chocolate is my favorite. They have many other flavors. I get mine in the health food store. If you have a Vitamin Shoppe near you they are cheaper there @25.00 for a case of 12. Walmart also carries Pure Protein Bars @1.17 and it has 20 gms.of protein. My fav. is the strawberry shortcake. Also, have you tried mixing some ricotta cheese w/splenda,unjury and some extract flavoring of your choice? Loaded w/protien and goes down easy. Hope this helps. Your Gastric Buddy, Jeannie

Dymatize.com has protein powder called ELITE. It comes in 10 different flavors and are really good. Two scoops in a 16 oz bottle of water will give you 46 grams of protein. I drink the berry blast and it's yummy! Also there's another one out there Nector something. Fuzzy Navel flavor in that one's good too! Same amt of protein in two scoops.

Several members of my support group have purchased Magic Bullet blenders (small blender which really chops up ice!) I love mine. I also bought several sugar free syrups. I like the DaVinci brand best. You can buy the hazelnut and vanilla at Wal-Mart or order them online at DaVinci.com -- then you can get flavors like cookie dough, German Chocolate Cake, Macademia Nut, Kahula, etc. I have about eight flavors. My husband accuses me of running a mini Starbucks! I have used many kinds of protein over the past year, but my new favorite is also Champion Nutrition Pure Whey Protein Stack. I order the vanilla off of dpsnutrition.com. It's pretty reasonable, and it tastes good. If you're ordering for the first time, do it by phone, and they'll give you a $5 off coupon if you tell them you're new. Since getting the magic bullet and sugar-free syrups, I have been MUCH better about getting two protein shakes a day. Best of luck! Joni

So far my favorite is Anywhey Virtually Tasteless protein powder. I add it to all kinds of stuff, and can make any flavor shake I want. -m

My vote is also for the Champion whey stack (chocolate). I just received a 5 pounder yesterday from netrition.com. Linda

There are a lot of good protein shakes out there, it's just a matter of finding what suites YOUR tastes I like Unjury, but I LOVE the "Protein Delite" shakes. My two favorites flavors are Strawberry and Banana. The Alpine Milk Chocolate is great too. They have several other flavors (including Vanilla Very Berry ) You can get them at BariatricEating.com Try some samples of proteins before investing in a large container. Both BariatricEating.com and Vitalady.com offer samples for sale. Good Luck to you * Debbie *
