At Theresa's suggestion I'm vowing to hop on the protein train today! Gina ask that I post the "rules" each day so I'm going to do that for her and also as a reminder to myself. I'm just 4-5 pounds away from the Century club and I can't seem to make it so maybe this will get me there --- ya think?
Do this for 10 days to break a plateau
1) Drink 2 quarts of water a day
2) You must have 45 grams of protien supplement and all your vitamin & mineral supplements each day
3) you may consume up to 3 oz. of the following high-protein foods, 5 times a day:
? beef
? pork
? chicken
? turkey
? lamb
? fish
? eggs
? low-fat cheese
? cottage cheese
? plain yougurt or artificially sweetetened
? peanut butter
? beans/legumes
You may also have:
? sugar free popsicles
? tea or coffee
? sugar free sodas
? sugar free jello
? broths and bullions
? crystal lite drinks
4) IF IT IS NOT ON THE LIST YOU CANNOT HAVE IT FOR 10 DAYS
5) Keep a food diary and get up to 30 minutes of exercise daily.
What are you vowing to do today and who's joining in on the protein train?
Good luck everyone! Have a Wonderful Wednesday.

Hope this gives me a jump start.... have gained a few pounds , wish me luck I have tuna in water....... if I have two cans today not all at once it will give me 102.5 in protien. no carbs.and about 475 in cal, then my bad coffee will give me nothing but calories......which is 195 for three cups, then down the water at least 64 ounces...... then same tommorrow but will have chicken breast, with mustard only....I think I can do this..........please advise.......wanting to get back on track.......

Good morning DeeDee......... You can do it....I can see you have motivation!!
Last week I tried this Plateau Buster because I needed to lose another five pounds. Man! it works great, if anyone hasn't tried it and was wondering, it does work!
I did it for five days (couldn't stick to ten) and lost seven pounds !. Yes, I was hungry almost every day. But, I just told myself no and drank more water. The thought of eating every few hours and five meals a day, at least let's you be satisfied.

Luann,
Thanks so much for responding. I haven't ever done this before and I'm glad to hear you had great success with it. I am hosting a bridal shower Saturday, Sept. 24th and that gives me 10 days to do this before the shower. I would so love to have lost 100 pounds by then!
Thanks!
DD
I am glad to hear this will work.....and being hungry is ok, when I use to try to lose weight before wls if I felt hungry meant I was losing so you helped me remember that so hope it works for me drink drink drink......I take synthroid and have not been taking it like I should wonder if that has anything to do with my weight gain .....about 4lbs but it has really made me feel bad..... right now I am dizzy but oh well I think that will pass too.......thanks again

Isn't the cheese in cheesecake an excellent source of protein? I do wish you the best of luck today --- what a challenge to have to eat at the Cheesecake Factory! I ate at one for the first time in California and was glad there wasn't one closer to me back home.
Be sure tomorrow to let us know how you did today!

G'morning Dee-Dee!!
Im always on that protein train it seems - well, more times than not? I think it's safe to say I average 80-90 grams a day. I don't diligently track that number, just a guestimate based on my Supp's and Meals!
My VOW for the day? TO DRAG MYSELF OUT OF THIS HOUSE into the sunshine!! Meeting my girlfriends for lunch at the CheeseCakeFactory (oh gee, now that's not temptation waiting to leer me in)
I have literally been sitting inside like a hermin, on my recliner in a zombie like state'a mind for the last three days. Wore my ever luvin' butt OUT in Oklahoma - nonstop movement, a few questionable food choices, prolly too many liquid parties with wasted calories ...but the good news, the excessive activities surpassed the calorie levels and I came back almost an entire pound lighter.
LOL - granted that's stark nekkid and after I trimmed my bangs.
Have a great day - Lei

Hey lady, I saw your pictures... was that a giant protein-packed Fuzzy Navel you were drinking?!
I had to laugh at the bang-trimming. I can remember wondering how much weight I could lose by cutting my hair, shaving my legs, plucking my eyebrows, filing my nails, etc.
I'm still suffering from jet lag after a nine-day, 1830 mile trip myself. I don't know how a person gets jet lag from a car but I swear I've got it! =)
Enjoy lunch --- I'm jealous you're eating at the Cheesecake Factory today.
