2 yrs ago today

Good morning all, 2 yrs. ago at 8:30 I went to surgery. I had complications that caused a leak and had to be on a TPN for 3 months with no food or water to touch my mouth. That was a bad time but it was worth it. I am still 20 pounds from my goal but I have never seen my collar bones before(even as a kid). I am healthier than I have ever been. Before surgery I couldn't even stand for 10 minutes, now I can walk 5 miles a day. I am 58 yrs old so I say that is pretty good. I am still losing(lost 4 pounds last month) so maybe some day I will hit my goal but I am not worried about it. I will just continue to eat healthy and it maybe will happen. So if anybody wants to know if I would do it again. YES I WOULD.. I will be around(God willing) to see my grandkids grow up and get married and maybe see a great grandchild or 2. So happy for you! I am coming up on my 2nd anniversary too on the 25th of Sept. I am starting to struggle now and still want to lose about 20 more pounds too. The last few months I have stayed about the same. Up and down the same 2-5 pds. But yes I too am so much healthier and would do it all again. Thank you for posting. Lucy

Thank you all so much. I really need to work on getting a new picture up. This one is a year old. I just don't like the way I look in pictures. So its had for me to pick one out. Thanks again Ev
