Any North Texans out there?

Hi all, I know that all of you must be as touched by the horror that Katrina left in her wake as I am and I know that we all want to help in any way we can. The local Red Cross in Dallas is saying that they have all the clothing donations they can handle but I suspect that not many of those clothes are Plus Sizes. I found out today about some refugees from New Orleans who have moved into an apartment complex down the street from me, here in Dallas. They live at Oak Run apartments on Preston Oaks (off Preston, between Beltline and Spring Valley). The complex is managed by the same company as mine and there was a letter outlining the needs these people have on my door this afternoon. Among the items listed were: Women's Clothing: Dress - size 18, 22, 24 Slacks - size 16, 18, 2X Shirts - size 3X, 2X Shoes - size 10, 10W or 12W Men's Clothing: Pant - size 40 Shirt - size 3X Shoe - size 10 If any of you in the Dallas area have clothes you have undergrown and want to donate them to a really worthy cause, please call the Oak Run apartment complex and find out when you can drop them off. Or, you can call Preston Creek at 072-386-0407 and I'm sure they will be glad to help you help these wonderful people in our sister complex. Patty Butler
