Home Sweet Home!

Just arrived back home in warm SW Florida from my trip to Boston and New Hampshire. Had a great time and over the past 6 days or so the weather was great--pretty crummy the first couple. Got to do lots of shopping and went to a couple Sox games. Life was definitely excellent! For the first 6 days I did really well on the eating and exercising. Then I left the city and hit suburbia and things went downhill a little. Actually maybe a lot. I am looking at my scale, working up the nerve to get back on it. I think I will wait til tomorrow morning. Weddings and visiting family really are not conducive to dieting. Oh well, glad to be home and able to access the internet on a regular basis. I go for my mammo tomorrow in preperation for my bl and tt next week. Looks like things have been pretty quiet around here. Take care all!

Welcome Back Lynda! Glad you enjoyed yourself and the weather. Now maybe you can get back into your routine. Hope all goes well w/your mamo tomorrow. Since I have implants now, they don't squish them like pancakes anymore. They also have to take more pics when you have implants. But since you are only getting lifted you will still have to get squished in the future. Sorry!!! Maybe you might want to reconsider. LOL.... I can't believe it's next week already. Jeannie--Maybe that squishing thing is worth rethinking the implants--just kidding. I remember the last time I had a mammo was before wls and they had to use two x-ray thingies. How embarrassing was that? Maybe I need to write that down as a benefit of wls--at least a milestone in the journey. Thanks for the offer of advice. I am sure I will have lots of ?s over the next week.

I bet you're glad to be home. It's always nice to come back home after traveling and living out of suitcases. So you're going to have a bl and tt. Good for you. I'll be thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery, but I must admit you already have a "flat" tummy. You're going to look spectular after this. Keep us posted as to how you are doing and if there's anything you need just holler.

Great to have you back. Hope all goes well with the plastic surgery next week. We've worked so hard to get where we are today but the ps is necessary for some of us to feel the wls journey is complete. It's strange how every social occasion seems to revolve around food. It's always so tempting to have just a bite of something. No big deal once you hit goal though as long as we get back into our routine quickly I suppose. I've just started maintenance recently, will figure that one out as I go. I'm having Abdomoplasty and love handles removed on 10/21. Not looking forward to the pain but certainly looking forward to being able to buy clothes that fit.
