So, how was everyone's long weekend? I had a nice weekend and enjoyed spending time w/hubby and friends. I didn't make the wisest choices, but I did get all my water and protein in. Hubby finally replaced the switch on my treadmill. Now I don't have anymore excuses for not getting on it. So today I will aim at the following: 1.Get ALL my Protein in. 2.Get ALL my H2o in. 3.Treadmill for 30mins. 4.No Grazing! 5.Spend time reading. How did you do yesterday and what are you vowing today? Good morning Jeannie! Actually a little short on the protein yesterday. Todays vows-- Walk 1/2 hour 64 oz fluid 60 g protein either trim hedges or organize clothing or office room Tired this am as I was all wound up last night and couldn't stop watching info on the hurricane. Didn't get to sleep until almost 1 and have to work at 8 so that makes for a hard day. Must get on a regular schedule again. Will check in later-- Lucy

Good morning Lucy! There are days I don'****ch the news, because it upsets me too much. It's very easy to get caught up in it all. We feel so helpless. Do you use any protein supplements? When I don't get enough in food wise, I have a shake or a bar. I found some really great tasting ones that I like. I hope you have a better day today and a more restful sleep. Hang in there! Jeannie

I do have some proteins I like-- The proplete gold that they quit making I am using my last cannister of but just ordered some that Miss Dolly recommends Vanilla Very Berry-- can't remember the brand off hand. Also like adtkins granola bars. Do peanuts, jerky, boiled eggs cheese and if I grill meat i can eat about any of it . Just lazy yesterday I think. Later-- Lucy

Oh my Willow! Sorry to hear you had such a bad time of it. Sugar will get me everytime. I didn't have any sugar for almost two years and one day I tried some. That was my first mistake. I know I'm a sugar addicted. What made me think I wasn't anymore? I dumped big time on it and won't ever have it again. It's poision to me. I have to be careful of the S/F stuff too. I limit myself on that. You can do this Willow. Sugar doesn't control us! Hang in there! Jeannie

Hey Jeannie, Glad to hear you had a nice weekend. Go, go, go Lil' Jeannie ... when you get on the treadmill! I did great over the weekend until yesterday ... I got carried away and didn't eat enough . I went out Friday and got all this low carb and low fat stuff and ended up taking in way too little of each. Today, I'm paying for it ... I'm so tired. But, I had some bran cereal for breakfast and will have a protein shake in a minute or two to get some energy up! Today's VOWs: * Get ALL my protein in * Eat at least 25 grams fat and 20 grams carbs * Drink 64oz water, kool-aid or crystal light Thanks for all the support! Julie
