thought I stopped dumping!
I been a very bad girl! I had been having small amounts of sugary foods with no consequences. So tonite went out for dinner with friends and had pizza, white pizza with thin crust topped w/ garlic butter no tomato sauce, cheese, sausage and mushrooms, had 2 small pieces maybe 3X3 " squares. no prob. After me & DH went to Target on the way home and right at the enrance to out subdivision there is a Culvers. If you don't know Culvers don't find out. They have frozen custard to die for (and I nearly did) DH says ' want some ice cream?" yeah sure. I have had a few bites before no prob. So I got the flavor of the day nestle crunch swirl. chocolate frozen custard with crunched up nestles crunch bar swirled in. I only ate a few bites and nibbled a little of the cone. I dumped so bad it was not even funny. I have mildly dumped, felt tired, got rebound hypoglycemia, maybe a little crampy. Never the full blown diahrhea etc. this time I got a big Budda belly in minutes, DH was alarmed at the appearance and oh my god!!!! I became more aquainted with my bathroom than during a colonoscopy prep.
I have now learned that yes I do dump worse than I ever thought possible, pizza with all the fat inherent in garlic butter, sausage and cheese then Ice cream could kill me and I will never do that again.
and to think they have a sugar free lemon ice I should have had. why would I even take the chance. I told DH if I ever should forget this he is to remind me if he sees me going to do something so stupid ever again.
