Ohhhh - I saw the little boogar last night, he's lost more hair!!! Talk about a funny/weird lookin' cat!!! I hope he didn't get burned!!! For those of you who don't know - my friends 2 year old was being quite mischevious one day and was upstairs in his moms bathroom. Well, he was TOOOO quiet, so she went up there and she looked around and saw Nair all over the bathroom, she then turned around and saw that her son Naired the cat!!! He was clumpy, but not TOO bad, it looks like he got more stuck in him than she realized cause he's gettin' balder! She should have washed the cat, but I guess it was bad enough for the little bugger to have Nair on him, but then to be thrown into water - talk about adding insult to injury!!! RNY 10/31/03 257/130

I read your first post about the naired cat... and thought how often over my lifetime I've threatened to shave any one or all of the kitties we've had. Seems this would be the only solution to the shedding problem. You can't imagine the amount of money we've spent on those sticky lint rollers for cat hair removal. We've had all color cats.... but the worst for shedding was the black and white one. No matter what you wore, his hair showed on it. We have a white cat now... and its good that since WLS I will now wear other colors than just black. WP

When I was younger, my parents cat got covered with Tar. She must have gotten it when investigating the new roofing going on next door. We had to just about completely shave her. She had these huge bald spots all over her. She was a beautiful blue point siamese cat too. Poor baby, she didn't have anything to do with any of us for months. This will be a story you can tell for years. Hugs. Susan M. -174
