I'm 40 now what???????????
Your post made me chuckle on several levels...ah yes, I remember turning 40. I too bought a convertable and a new house to celebrate. The question of what I do now was very easy- work my butt off to pay for these things! I am also seeing a birthday next week...40 I wish! Somewhere between 56 and 58. I figure if I don't narrow it down specifically then it will be harder to stick to me! What do I do now? The what doesn't seem so important. The main thing is I am going to do whatever over 200# lighter and much much healthier. Have a good start to the next decade!
Happy Birthday Connie!!!!
I too am 40.. but havent hit my birthday YET this year. What a great time it is for us. They say mid-life crisis.. I say LIFE HAS JUST BEGUN. Being overweight all my life, I've just begun experiencing the new and the untouched... these areas could be scary, yes?? But after WLS anything is possible, and why the hell not try it???
I bought a new vehicle in my 40th year too, a Tacoma pick up truck.. Love it.. want to supe it up.. Want my new tatoo, have a few months left in the 40's to determine what that will be... but i'z determined!
Live it girl, let loose of some inhibitions.. I surely have. For the first time in my life, im LIVING.. dancing... playing sports.. doing whatever the hell I want... DOIT!
Enjoy

I'd get me a motorcycle - then you'ld be ready to ride into your 50's!
Hi all!
Forty was a while back, I'll be 50 in November. However, I do believe that every 10 year mark has gotten better and better for me. My surgery was Aug. 30th of last year, I'm down 115lbs. I had my nose pierced before the surgery at 48. I lost the 115lbs at 49. I also had breast augmentation and lift at 49. Gosh, their great! I also went through a nasty divorce at 49, but have a wonderful new man in my life for my 50th. At 50, I expect to get my tattoo (and maybe a tummy tuck).
Life is indeed wonderful! God bless you all!!! Live your lives to the fullest.

Happy Birthday! I am 42! I think everything just continues to get better as we age. I am having the best time since I lost weight! I don't know if I'll do the tattoo though. I am conservative! I am also afraid of pain. I will have the TT next May. I have to wait until school is out next summer. I NEED the b-lift, but I will have to self-pay, and a single mom with five blessings can't afford it! You can get away with more when you are this age...blame it on the mind and memory loss! I hope your day was as special as you are! Hugs and happiness, Tammy
