Today I vow to:
? Eat fewer than 1200 calories
? Drink a minimum of 80 oz. of water
? Go to church instead of the gym after work
? Start packing for my nine-day trip!
I did well yesterday with my vows and I'm now 3 pounds away from the Century Club. How did y'all do and what are you vowing for today?

Morning DD
I did not do very well yesterday. Got my protein in but that was about it. Going to get pics this morning for TT insurance submission. Really nervous-- fearing I will be denied-- not sure I want to go through with it if I am approved-- afraid of where I am at with my "food issues",
Read a very good passage in a Joyce Meyer book this morning on self control and it really struck me how lacking control deteriorates our spiritual connection and emotional well-being. I have always known that I guess but needed to hear it again.
Today I vow to drink 8 glasses any fluid

See ladies for coffee and "uplifting" socialization
I would like to say I am going to exercise 1/2 hour but don't want to report I failed. I plan on going to the gym after I get off the 'puter but dang I sure can find other things to do.

I have that same devotional by Joyce. Starting Your Day Right. I love that book. It's easy, short day by day reading. I try not to miss a day.
She really is encouraging. She devoted a few days of reading on the subject of Self Control. It really has been insightful. I know that I always need to be reminded that I need to use more self control. That is why it's so important for me to daily renew my mind in Christ.
Thank you Lucy for sharing this w/us today. I will keep you in my prayers regarding your TT approval.

Good Afternoon!
I slept in today and had some phone calls so I didn't post my committments earlier.
I figured out how to keep me from overeating. Shop, shop, shop!!!! I went shopping yesterday and was so busy that I didn't take the time to sit and have lunch. I did have a protein bar w/me, so I had that at least. I was gone all day and didn't get home until 8 last night. Then I had a late dinner. If only I could shop everyday.LOL.....I managed to get all my water in because I take it w/me to the stores. I also got the treadmill out of the way early. So over all I did pretty well. (I did eat my din din kinda fast though). Still working on that one.
Good for you DeeDee on having only 3 to go. Remember that you might be carrying some water retention, being that time of the month. Don't fret it. You are doing awesome!
Today I will:
1.Get ALL my Water in.
2.Get ALL my Protein in.
3.Eat SLOWER!
4.Do the Treadmill.
5.No eating after 7:30.
6.Make some important calls.
7.Rest today. (Shopping can really tire one out) LOL....
Knowing we can be successful today at whatever we put our minds to doing.
