when at goal, how often do you weigh yourself

I am over 16 months out and have been at my personal goal since July 7th (150) I used to hate to weigh myself but now its more of an assurance that I am staying at goal, I am no longer obsessive about it either. the scale reads between 147 and 151, this is fine with me and I can go days without thinking about the scale but if I walk by it, I feel compelled to weigh myself. how often does everyone weigh themselves now that you are at goal? Just about Daily, often twice (before and after run, to get an idea of how much fluid I lost). Sometimes I forget. But, I don't pay much attention. For instance, I am pretty sure I weighed this morning, but don't recall the weight. Somehow, if I didn't like the weight, I think it would've stuck. Tek

I weigh about once a week or every two weeks. I often forget to weigh before I eat and drink. Also, if I get to weighing every day, it tends to put me in panic mode. If I see I am up a pound or two, I panic and eat more from stress. Don't want to be doing that.

II have been at goal 27 months and I weigh myself almost everyday. I am still so paranoid that I'm going to gain any part of it back. I'm very careful to not overeat at a meal. I don't want to stretch things out. And I do try to eat the protein first. But...I do like to graze on pretzels. And with my additive behavior I eat way too many (1/3 - 1/2 bag on a 'bad' day). I think it's because I ate constantly before and need oral satiation or something. I get a lot of crunch out of the pretzels. I guess it's the lessor of all the evils I could choose from. No raw veggies just don't do it for me. Now here it comes...I gained a pound. A whole pound. I've had it on for about a week and am going nuts. I've walked everyday, tried to cut down on the amount of pretzels (none before 10:00), making sure I get lots of water. I have my protein drink every morning and eat the protein first at supper. I cannot get that 1 pound off. Am I doomed? Is the honeymoon over?

I'm scale obsessed. I weigh every day. I usually stay within 3 lbs of goal. If I go out of town the first place I go when I get home is to the scale!

Girl, I weigh every single morning, right after I go to the bathroom. I'm petrified of regain, and I just want to know where I am. I've seen friends *****fused to weigh for months and suddenly they realize they're up 20 or 30 pounds. I'm just not going to let that happen. But I never weigh more than once a day. I also weigh everyday. It keeps me accountable. Before losing the weight it would just depress me, now it doesn't affect me at all. I just like to know how I'm doing and that is the best way for me. I think it is different for everyone. Good question, I'm glad you asked it. Shel E.
