Good-Byeeeeeeeeeeee Friends!
Hello (and goodbye) friends!! 
Just a quick post to let ya'll know that I'll be gone and missing in action for the next two weeks, after TODAY! We're driving to Oklahoma early early EARLY (did I say EARLY yet?) in the morning and with the price of GAS nowadays I have to wonder why we opted to DRIVE 20 hours, vs, FLYING 4 hours. I also heard with Hurricane Katrina that gas prices are only going to get HIGHER! At this rate, I might have to work while Im town just to pay for the gas money HOME!
Im finishing off all the last minute loose ends (like shopping for the almighty deal?) ...got most of the packing done, and even found a tall hunky SINGLE dude to House-Sit for me. He's from Paul's boat and was not able to go out with the last maneuver, since he's stuck in the barracks for 3 weeks we offered him our house as a place to recoup. It actually worked out PERFECT for ALL of us, cause now I have someone to watch the house and more importantly keep my 2 Fur-Boys from killing each other.
Soooooooooooo - surely by the time the male species reaches their mid-30's they STOP having "House Parties" right? Just in case, if any of my girlfriends happen to be in the neighborhood and they notice that my "house is a rockin, PLEASE do come a knockin' ...cause it won't be me, it'll be Doug!
Oh, and he's a very very NICE man - soon to be single again, 35 yrs old, 6' 4" and about 240 lbs.... I told him I'd be "hooking him up" once the divorce was final - so stay tuned, single friends.
Good luck to ALL of you about to go into surgery - I played catch up on the Surgery pages over the last few days and hope I was able to sign yours as well. Keep it positive, take it slow, sip, walk, sip, walk... oh and keep pressing that HAPPY BUTTON, it'll be your best friend while you're in the hospital.

Pssst... Jay? -- aka Poppa/NowhereMan. I should still have computer access when I get to Oklahoma if you need to email me (they DO still have the 2 Dixie-Cup & string connection, dont they? lol). Just in case, you've got my cell number and I have all your numbers programmed. Hollar at me if things change for you, otherwise, I'll see you next Wed. at 1:00!

Nowhere Man/PH/Jay LOL - reread my post, ya nut, I told you I have ALL of yours programmed on my cell. Oh, and I'll be bringing my LapTop with me on this trip (no, not to lunch) - Im not sure how much "down time" I'll have so I doubt I'll be on it often, if at all.

[sigh] the things I do for my fellow gal-pals, my job is never done! 
Have a great trip! I just spent two days in the car--un-airconditioned--returning my son to college. Did I mention it was un-airconditioned and we were driving from s/w Florida to North Carolina? I'm sure your trip will be better than mine. Have fun--and OH-I am extremely jealous--PANERRA!! One of my favorite places. I just got done telling my son yesterday that I believe Panerra was responsible for at least my last 20 lbs of gain before surgery. I became absolutely addicted to their cinnamon crunch bagels. Of course they have lots of healthier choices but I just couldn't resist those darn bagels.
