I'm STILL four pounds away from the Century Club and I want so badly to make it before I leave town this Friday. So, giving it my best efforts today I vow to: ? Eat fewer than 1000 calories ? Drink a minimum of 80 oz. of water ? Avoid grazing on the office snacks ? Head to the gym after work and work out I kept my weekend vows - yay me! Yesterday I had 855 calories, 95 gm protein, 29 gm fat, 52 gm carbs and 84 oz. of water. How did y'all do this weekend and what are you vowing today? Have a Marvelous Monday! DeeDee

I'm doing protein all week too. The road trip is going to put me in a vehicle with four other people for very long stretches of the day and carbs just gas me up! In fact, TJ told me last night if we could get enough WLS patients down to N'awlins we could probably "moon" Katrina and blow her back out to sea. I didn't know Hawaiian Punch came in sugar free --- I hope that's with Splenda! I'm going to have to check it out. DD

Hello DeeDee - HappyFlippin'Monday!! Im 3 minutes from walking (speeding) out the door so this'll be QUICK! * 150 oz of pure H20 - where's my mask and flippers? * 2 protien shakes + food = 120 grams of the P-word * Off to the GYM! This is an important one. My original plan was to take this week OFF and get ready for my upcoming trip. * No eating after 7:00 (blew that over the last 2 days) Oh, and Ive switched gyms so my [cough] ..suitor is now a thing of the past. - Lei

I understand what happens when we take off. I'm dreading that part of my trip... not being here and being held accountable. But you're back on track today and you can accomplish those committments! You have a terrific day lady! DD

Sheesh, Lei ... what are you going to come up with next for our entertainment pleasure now that you've switched gyms?! Do you mind me asking how you manage to get in 150 oz. of water? That's incredible! I'm thinking if I upped mine maybe I could get rid of four pounds and FINALLY make it to the century club. I start out with 30 ounces in the Jacuzzi tub every morning but after I finish working out I try not to drink much or I end up getting up half the night and I like my sleep! I need to vow not to eat after 7:30 PM (gives me time to get home from the gym and eat dinner). There's something about 9:00ish that just makes me think I need somthing else to eat before bedtime. So, I'm adding the no eating to my vow today too! Have a terrific one and I hope the new gym has humor stories but not creepy ones! DD

Well Dee Dee if you don't get off those four pounds it won't be because you didn't give it your best shot. I am so impressed with your discipline. Keep up the good work lady!! Lucy

Awwww thanks! I really am trying but my body has just decided to rest a bit I suppose. I'm not freaking out or anything like that... I just want to make it to triple digits. I got within 7 pounds after my first surgery and here I am with 4 pounds left this time to make it. It just seems so elusive. It's that magical number that feels like I've made the peak of the mountain and the rest is downhill. Okay, I know the journey is probably all uphill from here on out but I still want that triple digit loss! I think it will make me try harder on vacation to maintain it. DD
