Peace and quiet when you have kids???...Now, that's a good one!!
My kids are 13 and 10 and they still pound on each other!! Threats usually work in this house because they know I mean business. Nothing violent of course, just extremely unpleasant for either one of them. They get to do the most miserable thing I can think of for them. If that doesn't work...my wife and I send them to someone else's house for the night!!
Best of luck to you...Cap'n K-Man
My children are almost 14, almost 12 and the twins will be 4 on Saturday. I can not even go poop by myself. I always have someone with me it seems. Yeah, it is the life of a mom or so people tell me. When I get to the point that I will scream if I do not get a few minutes to myself my hub usually will keep them quiet so I can go take a nice long bath. It is not often, but it is VERY nice when it happens.
This summer at camp the older 2 took the younger 2 to the playground a couple of times when Dad wasnt there. Of course I think they wanted something out of me. But it was worth it for 20 or so minutes of quiet.
Things will get better, just hang in there a few more years. (that is what my mom says)
