Hi Everyone, I am a lap bander who lost 110 pounds and have maintained for over a year. I feel wonderful. My diabetes and high blood pressure are gone. I want to help others with maintaining plus I am open for new ideas. Mona

Congratulations Mona on your great success! Welcome to our new board. It is kind of quiet here this week-end. It is great that we can all learn from eachother. There are several other lapbanders here as well as several ds'ers. Different surgeries, but we have all fought the same battle and continue to deal with some of the same issues. Look forward to seeing you around again.

Welcome Mona! I hope you will enjoy this board as much as I do. You will soon find out just how great everyone is here. We really try hard to encourage each other. We are very respectful of each others opinions and differences. We all are on the same journey of wanting to be successful at our WLS. We aren't perfect and don't claim to be. We are all working towards the same goals of maintaining or getting to our goals. I wish you much continued success. Howdy Mona... nice to meet you. Congratulations on the weight loss. Isn't this just soo awesome... every obese persons dream to be thing.. come true. I feel so sorry for those who have tried but have so far been unable to get this surgery due to insurance denial or financially not able. Counting my blessings today for sure. great place to be to get ideas .... mine would be "brain surgery" to maintain but errr they aint done that one yet. the grazing is definately a problem here.. deb
