Hi I am new to the board. I have looked at the board several times but have never posted. I really need a place where I belong. I am 2 1/2 years out and down 140 lbs. still need to loose about 20 more but I am happy where I am. I am turning 40 next week and having a mid life crisis. my oldest daughter is turning 18 sunday. I hope to learn from you and hopefully make a few friends. conni

Conni, Welcome to this board, I sure can understand that search for looking for a board to feel you belong. Hang around here, there are some very thought provoking discussions that go on from time to time....those that make you say..."hummmmm". Darlene

This forum is like a pair of comfortable, truly sensible shoes. Little drama to speak of. We discuss important matters around here, yet seldom are any posts flagged as being urgent; our experience as post-ops has taught us the difference. As you sample the fare around here, you can tell if you are a grad or not. Those who are instantly feel at home. Hope you stick around. Nowhere Man/Ph/Jay

Conni, Welcome! I know how you feel about this board. It's the information, discussions and connection sans the drama of the other boards. I give many thanks to the main and state board for providing me tons of info early on. However, just when I would get ready to really get my feet wet something would "explode" and get me running back under for cover. I chalk it up to old age- I too have a birthday next week, although considerably older! Drama as well as 200# is something I chose to cut out of my life! Glad you'e here!
