15 months out and hit the Double Century!!
It's officially down 202#! I am so happy. I have been blessed with slow but steady weight loss my entire journey with very limited plateaus. When last speaking with my surgeon he said that I would "probably" make my conservative goal by 18 mos. (end of November). Although I feel guilty to admit it, I hadn't up to that time exercised at all and was ready to accept the 3# monthly loss. Somehow I got up the energy to kick myself in the butt and add that missing element to my program. No surprise, the weight is coming off! 7#s in the past two weeks. Its funny, once I got serious about daily exercise, I have such a renewed committment to this lifestyle I feel like I did right out of the gate. Thanks for letting me share.

Thanks for the kind words. You know, I knew exercise was part of the deal but just ignored it because I was losing anyway. It wasn't until our surgeon came to one of the support groups and talked about the "tool" he gave us and the three things we needed to do while using it- follow the food protocol, vitamins and exercise. It forced me to ask why I had eliminated 33% of the equation. I knew I would always wonder if I let my "window" close not giving it my all.
