Dawsyn arrived last night at 9:18 and he was 21 inches long and 8.7 pounds. what a cutie pie!!! Both mom and he had a bit of a tough time, but when he decided to make his entrance, he did it fast and with a bang!!! His baby sister (who will be 1 on the 31st) was so intreagued with him when he was in the incubator. She totally forgot about her doll babies and just wanted to watch him! Talk about sweet!!!

Thanks Tracy! I'm so excited. I got the "grandma high" going on right about now! The kids are coming out on Wednesday to spend the night I can hardly wait. I know what you mean. My oldest bio daughter just turned 16 on Saturday and boy how lovely it was when they couldn't talk! LMAO!!!

Congrats to you Grandma! LOL, although you'd have to prove it to me before I believed it, sorry you just don't look old enough. Well, I guess that's not something to be "sorry about" huh? Seriously - you look freakn fantastic!! I just became a GREAT AUNTY and my neice named the little boy Rylan, instead of the typical "Ryan" ...I really liked it, love those unique names and or the ones that may sound typical but are spelled differently. Good thing, with a name like "Leilani", huh? Congrats again - btw, you've almost MIRROR imaged my son's birth. Keoni was born at 9:20, 21 inches long and 8.7 lbs. (we won't mention that it was also 26 years ago, next week - oh my my, Im feeling OLD) - Lei

What wonderful news and I LOVE the name. My grandbaby number 4 is due to arrive next month. Her name will be Karsyn. (My oldest grandchild is only two, so they are close in age too).

Well thanks ladies!!! Yes those unique spellings are great! As far as the looking good for being a gramma - well, it's my step-son that had the babies!!! My bio children are 13 & 16 - and they better NOT be giving me grandbabies any time too soon!!! I'm still floating on cloud 9 though!!!

I'm glad you explained the step-gramma thing. I kept looking at your picture thinking how young you look to be a gramma. It was making me feel old. Congratulations! While I am not a gramma, I am an aunt who babysits--I love having them here and I love giving them back too! All the fun without the responsibility. I also remember how fun it was watching my kids with the babies.

You don't look old enough to be a GRANDMA!!!! Congratulations! Glad to hear all turned out well. You have been blessed twice now. Enjoy them, they grow even faster than our own kids did. Trust me, my oldest grandchild just turned 14 and is in High School this year! Aghhhhh...I'm getting old. Nah, she's getting older not me...LOL... Again, Congrats! Your Gastric Buddy, Jeannie
