I did not get the job. Sometimes my gut instincts are more than right. They certainly were this time. I do want to thank everyone for their support though, even though it should have gone to others. Bea

Bea, I recently had an interview for a job I didn't think I wanted so much until I had the interviews. I gave them a pretty good idea of who I am (or so I thought) and evidently they didn't think I'd be a good fit in their open positions. You just never can tell what exactly it is that they're looking for. Hope things work out better for you in the next go-round. Linn

Your best may be exactly what's needed on the next job interview. Remember there is more than one party involved in an interview and usually many qualified candidates for the position. Having someone else selected doesn't mean you weren't good enough. It just means they were more comfortable with someone else. As a supervisor I can assure you many times I've chosen someone for a position and later wondered where my head was that day. I did the best I could with the information given me but sometimes it wasn't a good decision. Smile, tomorrow will be a better day.

Bea I'm sorry you did not get the position you were applying for. You did learn, though, a great deal about your intelligence and abilities on the testing you had to pass. That can be so helpful in the future. Keep your chin up and striving to meet your goals and follow your dreams. Melissa

So sorry you didn't get the job you wanted but there is something better down the road. Try to think of this as a learn tool. Keeping my fingers crossed for ya.

Oh, Bea, I am so sorry that you did not get the position that you wanted. I am a firm believer that things happen the way they are supposed to, even though we might not understand it at the time. There is something else that is just perfect for you waiting out there. Please don't be sad and please don't get down on yourself. Sending you big hugs. Eileen

I wish I could find a word to ease your disappointment but I don't have a clue what that word might be. I am sorry it didn't work out for you and I wish you the best in future endeavors. DeeDee

Well that sucks, BEA!!! ...and it has NOTHING to do with your "best not being good enough" ..sometimes it's a simple as there being SEVERAL more then qualified individuals applying for the same job. There were many times in my business that I had a horrible time with narrowing it down to just ONE person, because there were 3 or 4 that I wanted to hire on the spot. Don't sell yourself short - you doubted yourself when you tested for it and guess what? You passed with FLYING colors!!! It just wasnt the right time or place - your future is still out there waiting on you so don't stop looking and don't give up! Hugs - Lei

So sorry Bea that you didn't get the job you wanted. It doesn't have anything to do with your best not being good enough. It wasn't meant to be...and watch you'll find a better position soon. You will be hired b/c that organization finds you to be better than best!! Keep your chin up. Paula
