Go back to the gym; hire a personal trainer. Physically, this is not such a difficult task considering the gym is right on my employer's campus and the cost of a personal trainer is about 1/2 that of public gyms. Mentally, I've had a hard time getting back to the gym since I took 2 months off for my TT (which was 3 months ago!). I'm still walking and biking but not enough of either and I feel like it. I've even been using the excuse that my DH and I are back to carpooling due to the terrible price of gas and him driving a gas hog. I guess he'll have to go to the library, work later, or go have a beer somewhere while I exercise 3 nights a week. NO MORE EXCUSES! Ann

Ann, That is so ironic. My husband and I work at the same office complex one floor apart. It is a HUGE campus and we happen to be in the building with our on-site gym in the basement below us (with on-site personal trainers). I work part time so I can be at the gym at 4:00 and work out until he's ready to leave at 5:00. We try to save on gas by carpooling as well. But then he likes to go work out too and that means I either stay at my desk and wor****il 5:00 or I spend two hours in the gym in order to leave with him. I need to MAKE myself spend the extra time in the gym. I am back at the weight I was before my staple line disruption but the clothes I wore at that time are much loser now than they were back then. I credit it to going to the gym this time around. Let me know how the personal trainer goes with you. I know how much of a difference it makes in the way I feel when I work our regularly! Good luck. LOL - are we allowed to play in the "Today I VOW" thread if we show up when the day's almost over?!? It's not really a vow - at this point in the day, because I could just adjust it to meet the things I truly accomplished. I'll try to show up earlier tomorrow - but I can tell you what I managed to accomplish today? Got in 128 ounces of water, so far, with 32 sitting here near the computer. Managed to drink TWO protein shakes, normally avg 1 a day. Got my butt to the gym and worked HARD in H20 Deep Aerobics Wore my ankle weights around the house the entire day. 10 lbs ea. Refrained from slapping some twit silly at WalMart - although I did NOT refrain from giving her some lip. Hey, it can't all be rainbow and roses, right? LOL Hugs - Lei

Hey, I think that's a great idea... maybe I'll wait until after lunch and see how I'm doing to start posting it. We just had a Wal-Mart discussion at the dinner table tonight. I had the manager there give me flowers after the way one of the clerks treated me. Or maybe it was just because I'm so darn cute --- n'aaaah, had to be the apology for the store clerk. DeeDee
