Morning everyone! My first day of posting on the Grad board. Don't usually post a whole lot anywhere, but felt kinda chatty this morning. Something about the warmth of this board perhaps. The openness/warmness you all have makes it kinda easy to open up with those deep down concerns without too much fear of everyone thinking I have jumped off the deep end. It is good to be with others who understand the struggles of WLS, even when we are further out. On my agenda for the day is a day of taking care of me. Been so busy lately, very little pamper me time (would have never heard those words from my mouth when I was pre-op). Heading out to the gym in just a bit. Really need to get back to it. I put on 4 pounds over my older son's wedding last week and have since taken it back off ... but now I am going to concentrate on finally buckleing down and getting off these last few pounds that have been hanging over my head for too long now! I hit the docs "goal weight" but now am pushing for MY DREAM GOAL. Have a great day everyone! Hugs, Tammy who is "truly" Bikini Bound now!!!

Frost.......oh I wish!!! It is expected to get into the 100's with heat indexes.....darn humidity! Theres nothing better than sitting on the porch on a cold morning sipping coffee.....I am so looking forward to fall! I better your falls are goona be gorgeous where you are now! We have to take drives to see pretty foilage here Laundry is also on the agenda for me today....whether I like it or not I had my two week post-plastic check-up yesterday.....she had to cut me open a little and drain excess fluid build up.....It was gross and hurt a little....but I am much more comfy today! I jump from subject to subject....For some crazy reason the mosquitos have been quite all year around here.....we bought all the usual sprays (yard sprays to help cut down) Filled up the tiki torches.....and we haven't had to even open the yard spray stuff. And here we are in like mosquito heaven where we produce the westnile vaccines the are so bad Won't complain tho.....cause they love me.....I am too sweet or something Take Care and have a good one jesi

Good afternoon my sweet Val! Nope I haven't been around much...lots of drama, and of course recovery from the tumor removal and such stuff. I wish we would get the frost here! (although it did just start raining) You know how much I hate summer and heat, and it's been bad here....Still trying to get adjusted to the humidity, but to me, heat is heat. (excpet when you walk out of an air conditioned buliding, put your shades on and they fog up!!) that cracks me up everytime it happens. I'm not doing much of anything again today. I've got major PMS, I hate everyone from hell, so I'm hiding out Dyed the top part of Jade's hair black, and she still has the plat. blonde under. Looks pretty cool if I do say so myself. I miss you soooooooooo much! OH!! and you and Joanne best start tossing me the ciggies and lighters since I'm smoking like a chimney again!! Love you tons my sweet thing... Kari

You had frost and we have a heat advisory through the weekend. I'd rather have the frost personally. Can't wait to get up there and enjoy the nice crisp air. Patty
