This is so ot but I need to ask a question. Does anyone know of a website that I could post my yorkies on to sell? Hubby has a site for his beaglesbut I have never seen a message board type place to post yorkies. I could make double or triple the money as I would make locally. This is an honest question. I am not a troll but after some very nast emails and things happening yesterday, I made a new profile and re-invented myself. Thanks, An oldie but goodie that you all know and love (I hope). If you figure it out please do not post it. HUGSSSSSS

I'm sorry that you received nasty emails, I'm sorry that anyone does. That is the reason that I don't post to the public forum anymore and chose to select the email button and post to the poster. I have purchased a flame retardant suit and will wear it shortly. Attacks are not nice.... groups.yahoo.com has many lists, you can search there for your type of dog.... good luck..... Darlene

BEAGLES!!! DID YOU SAY BEAGLES!!!! Be-still-my-pitter-patter-beatin-heart! Okay I know the topic was Yorkies, but they're not my critter of choice. I am wanting to get a pocket-beagle - what info can YOU give ME! I'm a dead-end for info on what YOU REALLY wanted.

My hubby has been a trainer and breeder of beagles for over thirty years. We have had several Field Champions. Ours are not bench dogs they are rabbit dogs that trial. We have sold and shipped puppies all over the United States and even to Spain but the Spain deal was a one time thing and we do not ship out of the us. ANYMORE. It is just too hard on the dogs. we have some going to New York, Wisconsin and Seattle Washington in about two weeks. People call the small beagles "pocket" but there really is no such thing. They are 9 or 12 inch beagles. people put "pocket" in front of their names and get double the money. They are useless except for pets. They are certainly cute, tho. I have wanted a Yorkie for years. Not that we need them. I have a mini-poo and a min-pug in the house alreadyt. But we do not breed them. I have Yorkies coming in November. My plan is to buy a stud and sell puppies. Mine will be about two pounds each when grown. Locally, they only bring about five to six hundred dollars. On the net they go for 1500 all the way up to one I saw for eight thousand. That is why I am looking for a website that will allow me to post. We post our beagles on "The American Beagler website. It is a trading post type message board and is free.

I sent you an email with a website. I saw an average 2,500 - 5,000. I can't believe those little buggers go for THAT much! I don't want a "useful" dog, just a pet, a little guy to keep my Dalmation company and one that's just small.

thank you. I hope the new email I set up for this site is working., I will check. To find a pocket beagle, just type pocket beagle in the google search thingy. I looked at them that way once.

Try [email protected] - they do yorkie and silkie buying selling and rescue from what I've heard. Do a search on Yahoo for Yorkie support boards and check out PetFinder.com - there's a place for people buying or selling to look up what they want.
