Afternoon Sluggishness?

Hey Pat, Isn't that weird. I always thought maybe it was due to carbs too, but you're right, not all meals have carbs, most are high protein. It doesn't happen after breakfast, maybe cuz its too soon after sleeping at night. Any idea why? Maybe the blood sugar up/downs? Wendy

I'm getting to this late, but when I saw "1/2 sleeper" I could really sympathize. I have suffered with this for a long time, and when it gets really bad, the doc gives me some sleeping pills for about a week, just to get my body used to sleeping through the night and that seems to help get my body sleep pattern back to somewhat normal. Maybe this would help.

Hey Ang, Does your doc have any idea why it happens? Wendy

I have always gotten sleepy around 2-3 in the afternoon. (in many counties it is siesta time) My thyroid & iron are just fine. When I am at work the other people I work with also have the same thing. I think it is fairly *normal*
