Ok here is one for us all.... What do you do, that you really think helps you maintain, and keep your calories down.. I read where one lady put a bit of oatmeal in her protein shake to get it to last longer in her pouch, thought that one was pretty slick... I still use a piece of Provolone cheese as a taco shell and fill it with meat, and whatever... What are your little tricks..

I too find that a little grain makes a difference in how long I am satisfied with my meals. I eat my meat/cheese and some vegetables and if I still am munchy - I add a half slice of high grain bread for dessert! I'm amazed at what a difference it makes.

I get in the Jacuzzi tub every morning with a 30 oz. bottle of water. It's so much easier to drink in a steamy, hot 30-minute Jacuzzi bath. Then I drink a 20 oz. bottle on my way to work (first stop at the office is the ladies' room!) If I wait too late in the day to start drinking then I end up getting up half the night and I hate interrupted sleep! DeeDee

I do the "cheese as a taco shell" too! Works great! I've also been eating zero-calorie pickles (they are high in sodium though but I don't use salt on anything). Michelle 294/149

I know I am a broken record on this subject, but here goes anyway because it does work for me. Nutritionalin every meal that I possibly can; planning my meals and my snacks; cooking from scratch to avoid unnecessary extras; avoiding all fast food except an occasional chili from Burger King; avoiding "white" foods; eating lots of fish. These things do a lot to help me stay satisfied and feeling good, which in turn makes it easier to stick with the plan. I admit it takes some time and effort and finding the time is challenging, but I won't allow myself any excuses that could jeopardize my long term success. Giving up, making excuses, etc. is what got me into trouble in the past. Ann
