Eat too little?????

Well I am in the same boat . I have lost 175 pounds in 15 months . I like you can only get in a little at a time . I have found that eating a protein bar or adding a protein drink - helps keep the weight on . If I exersise - forget it .. I loose . Doc told me to scale back my cardio from 4 to 2 x a week .. and to not run so dang far . Who would have thunk it right ..
I do crackers and peanut butter at night .. but for the most part .. I am still loosing .
Nuts are a good high calorie protein too .
The thing with my RNY is that my doc performs what is called a banding at the base of the stoma where food empties into the intestine . This is his signiture surgery ... this was given to me as an extra measure to help me to stay fuller longer . And it works !

I wish I could do protein bars or drinks, but they all tend to make me sick as a dog... puke sick......
Ive never excersied..
I do eat alot of nuts tho, and do nibble on cottage cheese and cheese all the time....
Wonder if my doc didnt do something like your doc done with the banding at the base... but I know others my doc has done surgery on and they are eating more than me.. But I know I cant compare myself to others... each of us are different.....

Only you & your doc can determine what is the right weight for you. I just know I eat a lot more than that
My typical day is
5 am - 1 lite & fit yogurt w/ 1/4 C Kashi crunch cereal or a small detour bar before my workout
8/9 am - 1 egg with a sprinkle of shredded cheese rolled up in a tortilla or with a piece of toast.
11 am or noon - 1/2 sandwich ( 1 sllice whole wheat bread and deli roast beef or turkey or chicken breast(around 3 oz) tomato , lettuce, sprouts, etc, a little mustard or mayo or horse radish if it is beef) with a piece of fruit or 3/4 C cottage cheese with a couple TB unsweetened applesauce.
+ raw veggies, or a salad of cucumbers, tomatoes, goat or fetea cheese and greek or italian dressing real not FF).
2/3 pm - cottage cheese if I didn't have it for lunch or a banana w/ 1 TB peanut butter or a small protein bar, if I did not have one earlier, I try to limit them. they are fairly high calories. I like the smaller size detour bars.
5/6 pm, some sort of meat, fish , chicken or shrimp,(around 3 oz) a cooked vegetable and some kind of salad, I am very experimental with my veggies. few bites of pasta or potato.
8/9 pm sugar free fudgecicle or sf ice cream, sometimes I go real crazy and have a sf ice cream & diet root beer float.
It works for me. I have maintained my same weight with in 5 pounds ( I fluctuate about 5 pounds at that "time" of the month) since January 2004. I do exercise strenuously at least 4-6 times a week for at least an hour.
Wow wish I had my diet down to what you do.... Im jealous!!!!! Sounds like you have really got it figured out...
Right now Ive got my period and am still losing weight during it.. go figure... this a.m. i was 112 lbs.. another lb gone....
I eat when Im hungry.. and if Im not hungry and try to eat, makes me sick..
Protein drinks and bars makes me soooooooooooo sick... throw up sick!!!!!!!!!!
I do nibble on nuts, and cheese and cottage cheese all the time tho... I do try... and always try to make sure I get my protein first.....

I know exactly how you feel. I am down to 100 pounds and do not want to go any lower. I can't eat very much at one time, so I made my own trail mix and I snack on it most of the day. I use deluxe mixed nuts and raisins. It is very high in calories. I have not lost any weight in about 6 weeks, but have not gained either.

I didnt lose any for 2 months.. then it started back up again.... I do snack on nuts (keep them by my bed lol), i eat cottage cheese to nibble on and reg cheese....
I Dont do the protein drinks or bars,they make me throw up.... just my luck!!!!!
