Grads? PLEASE! Sorry, Ranting Vent
You're so sweet, Lynda.
Baby Alexis is doing fantastic...Mommy feels like she keeps getting hit by the same Mack truck, though. Both my PCP and OB/GYN believe that I now have an ulcer. I'm trying to schedule an endoscopy; but, while my insurance covers all three hospitals that are 30 miles from me, my PCP is affiliated with one health system and my OB/GYN is affiliated with its competitor hospital. Needless to say, scheduling an endoscopy with a GI that my PCP will refer me to AND having my OB/GYN there to monitor the baby before, during and after the procedure is turning out to be a little more than difficult. I have NO clue where I will actually be having it done at.. What a PITA!
I lurk here a LOT; but, with being pregnant AND gaining weight (22.5 pounds so far ), I just don't feel like I should be trying to contribute...I know that I need to gain for the baby's sake; but, I cringe when I weigh in. I have a lot of mixed feelings that I am trying to resolve regarding that and I am just hoping that I can 'hop back on the wagon' come November... Sorry for unloading on you...I really appreciate you asking about me and the baby.
(((Hugs)))

Sherry,
You've got MUCH to Contribute.
Your one of our few WLS Mommys!
Who else can pass on that experience?
Certainly not ME!
Sorry to hear about the possible ulcer
Don't worry about the weight gain for Alexis,
The pouch will still be there when she's asking for the car keys!
Take good care of yourself!
Best Wishes-
Dx
I totally agree with you, Dx! I have been irritated many times when this poster relentlessly drags the conversation over to how wonderful her surgery is. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed that she is not really answering the question at hand at all.
Vent away! I love to read your posts.
Hugs,
Connie

Kinda makes ya wanna say
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's getting kind of cut-throat "out there" sometimes ... I've never been one to dispense much advice, because I don't feel like I have a lot to contribute at times other than some support but geez ... sometimes it gets tough to even do that!
Have a great one Dx ...
Hugz,
Cathy
Kim,
Your PS results are Wonderful!!!
Congratulations.
I've got a Panniculectomy (sp?)
(perhaps TT - fingers crossed)
In the works for Christmas.
My PCP is advising it as a medical necessity,
Same from my Dermatologist, My Bariatric Surgeon
And my Physical Therapist.
Documented problems stemming from my
Excess skin for the last 8 months.
I've been super lucky to lose my
"Man Boobs," or Moobs,
And most all of my skin has drawn up great
Except a bit of Panni.
My case worker at Liv-Lite is optimistic
That it will be covered!
So,
My question for you-
I know you had the infection/ split stitch complication,
How long were you
"Out of Commission?"
In my case, my work is lecturing for classes
And siting at my computer drawing all day.
I'm always on the prowl now a days for the-
"Been There Done That" Folks.
PS Advice?
Best Wishes-
Dx
