funny moment last nite

I had taken the my girls out to see a movie and we stopped at our favorite place in Watkin's Glen to have some chicken wings after the movie. It is a small tavern with a seperate eating room where families can eat. However to get the drinks you have to go to the bar to be served. So I head to the bar and there are all these guys that work the Nascar pit teams- the race is in town. So they start flirting with me. Ask me to have a seat with them. I explain that I am there with my girls for wings and we joke around. As I am back up to get more sodas for the girls they invite me to take the girls back and come back later. Then we are chatting and I said something about when my dad lived in Kentucky-several of the boys were from the south. And I am like it was a long time ago---then one says "your dad can't be that old you look only 26". I will be turning 48 this December so that was a hoot to me. I thanked him and told him he was quite the flatterer. I told the teenagers and they thought it was so funny!!! Needless to say my own daughter burst my bubble with "gee mom how much beer has he had?" the moral of the story 1)go to bars with the winning team at the time, they are in a great mood 2)go to bars with poor lighting 3)put a smile on your face and act friendly 4)but most importantly know when to go home!!!! gratitude is my attitude Amanda S VG-DS October 2001 highest >350/342 start of wls journey/154@goal and after ps

Amanda, I think he was cold sober. Had a chat yesterday with one of my doctor's patients - her teenage son told her he liked her better fat. She told him she was sure he did - she didn't have the energy to kick his behind and now, not only does she have the energy, she's physically able to do it. This woman is in her 40s and looks about 24. She's 5'10" tall and weighs about 155 - wears a size 4. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the moment - I'm sure there will be lots of them for you. Patty

you met tony stewarts pit crew!!! how cool is that!!!!!! They have always said that his crew was awesome! Too make you feel like that I truely beleive it now!
