ANOTHER plastics approval!

I got my approval letter today! I have waited nearly three months to be approved. Now I am having trouble deciding on the date. What would you do? Wait until the summer or do it during one of the holidays? The letter states the approval is good for one year. Could BCBS quit covering the surgery and rescind the approval? What should I do? Tammy, i say schedule as soon as you have the time for it......you never know what might happen. i would do it while its available to me.....good luck!!!

Hello Tammy ... Congratulation on your approval...I had BCBS and had to get my approval for all of my surgeries before the end of last year because they were droping coverage... They still payed for the surgeries but everything has to be sent through twice... they rejected everything that came through the first time.. But with a few calls everything was cleared up... If it was me I would have my surgeries over the holidays so by summer you will be feeling better... another thing to keep in mind with waiting until summer would be with PS we have to wear the garments and they are hot...
