Confused About Fruits!?!
I don't eat refined sugar or flour but I always eat my veggies and fruit (2-3 per day). I'm not as far out as you but my nutritionist said protein first, then veggies, then carbs - starting with fruit. I think that I have done enough to my body and will not deprive it of fruit. I love it, it's good for you in moderation and it provides oodles of vitamins and minerals (depending on the fruit). I recently read that one serving of watermelon has the same amount of potassium as one serving of a banana. Seems to me that the best things we can feed our bodies are the good things - protein, veggies and fruit. I'll pass on the apple pie but not the apple. Congrats on your success - 140 pounds is awesome!
