need help with clothes sizes

hi again, I am in need of some new clothes but dont want to run all over looking and trying on the different brands. they all vary so widely on cut, actually size, length and look. I need a pair that fits me well and does not pucker in the hips or butt. I tried on my daughters No bounderies size 11 juniors and they actually fit... but they are mid rise an I want some that go a little higher so it shows my new waist. any suggestions on what brands to try or even what store to go to? Lee Jeans are great for the higher waist. Levis 517 (I'm pretty sure) also have a higher waist.
