HAD A BLAST TONIGHT!!!

Evenin' Peeps!! I just have to take a minute to pass on a "WOW" moment on to you all from tonight. My wife and kids and I went to a picnic and swimming party tonight for all the girls in my daughter's softball league. We ate, it was extremely hot and humid and I was MISERABLE...Then we gathered by the swimming pool complex at a small, local waterpark. I sat there very uncomfortable, sore and wanting to leave. My son wanted me to get into the water and also wanted us to let him go off the diving board. He loves doing cannonballs!! I didn't have a suit but finally gave in and went in with my shorts on. I haven't been off of a diving board in YEARS and honestly was a little worried since I am still pretty sore from my hernia repair. I basically decided that I could either take it easy just lounging in the pool or go off the board. Well, I went off the board...NUMEROUS times doing a bunch of cannonballs, can openers and preacher seats!!! Man...I had such a good time and didn't hurt myself either. Even at 110 lbs lighter, my splashes were easily the biggest of everyone going off the board tonigh!!! Anywho...I was so glad I took that chance and didn't worry about how I looked or whether or not I would be able to do that again. I guess you just have to get to the point where you either

or get off the pot!! It was a BLAST!!! Hope you all are having a super night...I will probably be back on tomorrow sometime before I go back to work for tomorrow and Thursday. Be good all...Cap'n K-Man

Great story K-man. Ya know I always used to tell my kids you only regret what you don't do-not what you do. Glad to hear you had fun--resting is over-rated. 24 hours makes a world of difference. I just got back from the Red Sox game--which they won--and the Yanks lost!
