WLS Surgery Magazine

Has anyone ever heard of or subscribe to "Wls Lifestyles Magazine"? I just saw it on Amazon. I've never heard of it before. I was wondering if it was worth the money. Michelle 294/150

This will prob. get pulled faster then I can type. Yes, I like the magazine very much. I don't sibscribe to it but I friend of mine does and I get to see hers each time. Its pretty much the same as the OH Magazine.

Hello Michelle - Ive never ordered EITHER of the magazines. I have read BOTH of them though - and my gut honest opinion of both? They're just walking talking advertisements! LOL - granted it's just "my" opinion, and Im sure it's not a popular one, but after leafing through 4 or 5 additions of the OH magazine and 2 copies of the WLS magazine - it just seemed to be 60% AD's, promoting protiens, weight loss products, doctors, etc ...heck, it'll probably even be promoting the POUCH PAL soon. Joy! Anyway - my UNPOPULAR opinion? Save your money and just keep reading the boards and any other weight loss forum/info site you can find. Less advertisement and more story lines. - Lei

I'm with Lei. The advertisements outweigh [no pun there] the benefits, and when you figure the cost of these magazines, why the heck do they need so much advertising if we are going to pay that kind of money? Hell, they probably own a few pouch pals, too! [I mean, you got to support your advertisers, right?] [sends a package of bean sprouts to be planted in the pouch pal]
