I Am Alive
Just wanted to let yall know that I updated my profile with details of the obstruction surgery that I just had. I am sorry that I didn't have enough notice about it to post before it happened. We knew that it was in the plans for me to have it done, we just didn't know it would turn into an urgent case!
I am on the laptop, as I still can't sit up straight. Headed back to bed....
I'll be back to posting soon. I miss all of you terribly.
I want to thank you for the emails, calls, visits, for signing my surgery page, and most of all for the prayers, thoughts, and candle lighting!
It worked! I am fixed.
Special thanks go out to Dan (Daddy) for all the love that he has shown me, the updates, and checking on me (and making me eat ). You are truly a VERY special person and may you will always be blessed. I love you.

Glad to hear you're home, recovering and doing well!!!! I kept reading posts from Cajun (I believe) updating us on your "status" but couldnt get anyone to reply to MY posts telling me WHY you were having surgery.
[sigh] -- It would appear my 'assumption' was totally off!! I was hoping you were celebrating your weight loss and maybe had decided to even visit a plastic surgeon. Holy crap, I hope that did NOT come out wrong - uh, Im not SAYING YOU NEED PLASTIC SURGERY, okay? LOL, nah, if anyone truly "needed" it, it was ME and I did ineed pursue it.
Anyway - what Im trying to say in a rambling blonde sorta way? I'm glad you're home, sorry to hear WHY you were in having emergency surgery and I hope ALL of that is behind you now.
