Woo hoo,, yesteday I had a wow moment,, i havent been in fashion bug in aloonngg time,, dunno why,, I know I could shop on the other side now but just havent done it,,, well I did, it was fabulous,, I felt out of place and felt like I was getting stared at,, just me being self conscience. Anyways,, just as I was checking out my DH called me,, and said "hey, what ya doing" I said "I am shopping on the normal side of fashionbug" the check out lady just started laughing,, then I explained to her I use to wear a size 28/30,, she said I would of never guessed you use to weigh that much,, that was a huge compliment to me,, I havent heard that one yet,, This is funny,, about a month ago, at the grocery store writing a check,, the cashier needed my license and when she went to hand it back she wouldnt let go of it and kept looking at the pic.. she said wow you have lost weight, how did you do it,, I told her about my wls and she said "Oh sorry",, I was like OK?? but anyways,, I like the comment the fashion bug chick said,, just had to share!! ps,, I bought 6 tops some winter and summer for under $30--had 50% off clearance items,,, Christy Lap RNY 316/178/165(used to be 145-but 165 is more realistic for a goal)

Congrats to you Christy!! Such a liberating feeling, isnt it? Walking into ANY store and knowing that they really will have things (lots and lots of things) that FIT!!!! I used to go on a lot of business trips and I ALWAYS over packed for them, including taking one small overnighter on the plane with me with one complete set of extra clothes. My biggest fear (at 400lbs) was losing my main luggage or having something happen to the clothes I was wearing (stained, tears, etc) and be stuck in a strange town without being able to REPLACE the damaged item. Finding "corporate" clothes in a womans 6X was damn near impossible and a true concern (that is now thankfully a thing of the past). LOL -- oh, and now, thanks to YOU, Im gonna wanna make a stop off at our local Fashion Bug, I live for the almighty DEAL!!! - Lei

I am a teacher so I never traveled for work, but I used to have terrors going on vacation and always overpacked, afraid that I wouldn't be able to find something I needed in my size. I had never considered that terror with businesswomen!!! Yikes! Life is so much better now on so many levels! Judi

Congrats Christy! How cool is NORMAL? It is really nice not to have to worry about where to shop for clothes.
