Just answered this on another thread and yes, Iz gonna be LAZY and just cut and paste it here too. LOL, I know you won't hold that against me, right?
Anyway - since my goals are simliar to my vows, here it is!
My goal (vow) is to make it through the day without snacking on carbs. I don't have a problem eating carbs if it's part of the meal, ie potatoes, pasta, etc.... BUT, that's ALL Im going to allow myself. If the carb comes disguised as a snacky kinda food (tater chips, cookies, candy, etc) then it's NOT passing these lips.
I've lost 9 of the 15 lbs Id gained (wooohooo, that's right NINE OF THOSE BAD BOYS are GONE!!!!!) ...with only SIX more to get to my lowest weight.
No carbs, no grazing, no carbs, no grazing, no carbs, no grazing .... surely if I say it enough, that'll make it real, right?

You do realize you could have burned an extra 7.293 calories by re-typing instead of copying/pasting, don't you?
I'm so glad to hear you're doing so well losing those 15 pounds. It is so encouraging to me to see long term post ops be able to pull in the reigns and get back on track. You have no idea how much it means to me to see that other folks are human, actually eat something other than just protein, and then recognize the pitfalls of allowing that to get out of hand.
I have learned so much from the honesty and frankness from folks who'll admit the struggles - THANK YOU!!

Sorry so late with my vows today. Been busy packing for our trip to Texas and saying our good-byes. My mother-in-law has been feeling ill so have been spending some time with her these few days. I won't be back here in MI until the 21st (leaving hubby down there). Looking forward to house hunting and checking out the area.
My vows today were no snacking and so far today I have done very well. Keeping busy helps.
