Where is everyone tonight?

Is the move definite? It is amazing the amount of junk we collect--isn't it? Any news on that Colorado job? Ya know my daughter looked at colleges out there and we fell in love with it. They get a huge amount of sunny days per year.

Oh yeah -- regardless of whether or not Colorado comes through -- I'm done here at my brother's house! I'm tired of coming home to find either the power, gas, water, or phone turned off because of non-payment and my brother claiming to be broke (which I turn around and pay to turn the utility back on and say I'm taking it out of my rent payment for him to claim that he's behind on the house payment and he needs that $$ too). After a couple of weeks -- I'll notice a new piece of fishing boat equipment and the house payment still hasn't been made (and I know this because they are sending him 5-6 "certified" letters at a time and he's only sending in one payment at a time just before the 3 month behind mark to keep himself out of foreclosure. I'm just sick of all of the "using" and "abusing" that goes on around here and have decided that if he can't get himself out of his financial troubles after all of the help I've given him because he's too stupid to put his priorities in order -- then I'm not going to be stupid enough to help him anymore. I've reached my limit and it's time for me to have my own space. He's been a real ass to me ever since I told him that I've felt it was time to move on and make my own life -- which has made my decision just that much easier for me. So regardless -- I'm moving (I just hope Colorado calls with an interview then offer while I have a truck packed!) I've never been to Colorado -- but my WLS partner in crime is out there and I know we'd have a blast together if I get that job (granted, the job is 45 minutes south of her -- but close enough for lots of trouble!) I'll let you know when/if they call -- but in the meantime -- keep your fingers crossed for me (the application submission deadline is the 15th -- so hopefully I'll hear something soon after that).

Hi Lynda, I didn't do alot today, just took it easy. I pulled my newly tightened TT muscles last night and was really sore and swollen today. I have a Thermacare heat pack on my stomach and it is helping and I took some of my left-over Vicodin. My poor hubby thinks he is trying to pass another kidney stone, so I hope I don't have to take him to the ER this time since I had to take the pain meds Hopefully we will both feel alot better tomorrow! Ouch Eileen. I definitely hope you both feel better tomorrow and no trips to the hospital. You didn't pull those muscles dancing did you?

No, I didn't go this time with Lei and Wendy because hubby and I had already made other plans. We did go dancing last weekend with them though and had a great time! I lifted something too heavy last night and felt it pull as soon as I did (*ouch*) I've been so careful to not lift things, so it was really dumb of me to do it. Eileen

I went boating and water skiing...Life is good! Never in a million years before WLS would I have ever even been a passenger in a boat. Hope you all are doing great! I love this board, and the people here. You are all very special to me.

Hi Lynda *hugs* yea its late ..11pm where is your children LOL I had my daughter from Houston this weekend come and pick up my granddaughter 2yr old who stayed this week with me. First time to stay alone with me ... but it was an awesome week. She's my oldest grandbaby, other one is 1 1/2yrs old and is my son's daughter. I will get to sleep in my own bed tonight after camping on couch all week ... she was a light sleeper so had a mattress on living room floor for the middle of night diaper change/get back to sleep thing sleeping with her. I missed out on the Shopping for clothing...Texas Tax Free Weekend thingy due to babysitting. Darn Darn didn't realize it was this weekend till THIS past week lol... oh well. I start back to school after next week.. ONE more week .... darn staying up late and sleeping in.. darn going to miss that lol Well I just woke up from a nap 2hr one lol.. and thought I would log on and see whats up on the boards... great to see you girl... *hugs* and hope you have a wonderful week.... Hi Lynda, We had a great weekend at the coast here in Oregon. My Mother In-law lives in Coosbay (coast) we stayed with her for a couple nights. Enjoyed the cooler weather. I get along great with my Mother in-law in case anyone is wondering. Back to work tomorrow. What are you doing in a motel room? Vacation?work out of town? What scary movie were you watching? Jeanne-I'm on a mini vacation up in Boston. Sounds like a great week-end. I used to get along well with my MIL also, even if I did blame all my husband's faults on her.LOL! She passed away a couple years ago and I miss her.
