hey..i just got in from the north end today..i went down about 4 ooclock and went down the feast..my grandmother used to belong to the society that the feast was held..so i was gathering information when we go to sicily how to see the original statue and church of st aggrippinna.. it was packed down there then i went to MODERN pastry and got some cannolis and almond cookies went to visit my aunt who still lives there and saw a few of my mothers old friends ..all my friends from the north end moved out too.,.,sad it aint a neighborhood anymore..when i greew up there there were only 5 restraunts and 3 pizza parlors..now its like ..ugh.. new york is still up in the air if i dont end up going ill e mail u i lost your number.. last night after going to new hampshire i came home and fumigated the in law apartment it was left kinda dirty so i cleaned it good..its done now so i can rent it out .. well bella have agood night ..going to get in pjs and i ahve 2 medical appaointments tommorow..fun fun fun.. hugs JoAnn

Hey I was there tonight too. It was crowded. I did have dinner--but no cannolies. What a great night! I decided which dress to wear to the wedding and which dress I'm gonna keep and which one I'm gonna return. Found some shoes at DSW and got a shrug to wear with the dress. Have a great day tomorrow--do medical appointments make for a great day? Have a good one anyway.

I'm here, just woke up from a nap and getting ready to go to bed now. I start back to work at school tomorrow. Ulg...............it's that time already. Summer always comes and goes too fast for me. At least I had a nice few days at the beach and got to attend Sandi's beautiful wedding last night in Gulf Shores. We got back today. Why do we always seem tired after vacation? We did absolutely nothing, cept for laying out and walking on the beach and then the wedding last night. Elle

yoiur goiing back tom school tommorow..ouch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i just got thru with summer school friday im off almost 4 weeks with the exception i have to go take a course 2 afternoons and sept i go in 1 day then go back labor day!we got out late this year though due to incliment weather..im hoping we have a milder winter so we can get out 5 days earlier than whats on the school cal;endar.. have fun going back happy 3 year anniversary and have a great school year! I'm here. I went to Oxford, MS today to visit my dad. I managed to stay within my calorie limits even though they pulled out the homemade chicken-n-dressing with giblet gravy, fresh home-grown tomatoes, and banana pudding. Ahhh... nothing like southern cooking to wreak havoc on the ole food plan. I just nibbled a bit for taste and turned down most of the other goodies they put out. I'm back home where I can get some straight protein at last! DeeDee

We spent all yesterday and part of today celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary! We don't have a babysitter in our new city yet, so we did all our celebrating with the kids (well, not ALL the celebrating...). We went on a picnic and nature walk and went to see "March of the Penguins"--a great anniversary-with-the-kids movie since the theme is about partnership and commitment to family. Today, we did some more unpacking and house cleaning. I feel a nice sense of renewal and accomplishment--ready to plunge back into work for another week. ---- Leslie

I'm sitting here in my bedroom surfing through some scarey reality videos/pics wishing they were only a movie. Spent yesterday celebrating a friend of mine's 80th birthday -- he's a trip! Then spent today packing getting ready to move! I really need to get rid of a bunch of "junk" -- downgrade quite a bit! Enjoy your movie -- and sleep tight!
